We deserve answers from Beau Biden

Beau Biden, Rob Tornoe, Delaware, Governor

If you haven’t heard the news, Beau Biden, our intrepid attorney general and holder of the royal Biden coattails, has decided not to run for re-election and will instead focus on becoming Delaware’s next governor.

State politicians have reacted predictably to the chosen one’s announcement. Lt. Gov. Matt Denn, presumably a front-runner for the governor’s chair, moved faster than Speedy Gonzales to file papers to run for Beau’s vacated attorney general seat (and hasn’t been able to stop posting all the great things people are saying about him on Facebook since).

“He did post a pic of himself with a puppy on Twitter.”

When asked for comment, the puppy said that Beau was in good health and feeling energetic.

    Gordon for Governor 2016

Why hasn’t Mitch Crane commented on Biden’s robust good health yet? Has anyone seen Mitch in the past few hours? What is Mitch hiding?

  4. Mitch Crane says:

Jason, Jason, Jason. I have been trying to track down rumors that you were not well and hiding it. Why haven’t you released your medical records? I have nothing left to hide. Most has been addressed by corrective legislation-the Marriage Bill just one year old yesterday. FYI-Thursday I met with Governor Markell-he looked well (but there were no witnesses). Then I went to the Department of Insurance to check on Karen Stewart’s health. No one was home.

Yesterday I had lunch with Tom Gordon, David Grimaldi and Trini Navarro. All three appeared in robust health-I even checked Tom Gordon’s scalp to see if the horns were filed down-seemed to be. I was afraid to check Grimaldi’s. Navarro was there for my protection.

Today I am performing a wedding but will check the health of the bride and groom (yes it seems heterosexual marriage has survived the gay threat). Then I will be at the Wilmington City Democrat’s fundraiser-and will see if they are recovering from whatever caused them to support the wrong IC candidate in 2012.

Finally-tomorrow I will meet with the new Sussex County Sheriff candidate to explain what a Conservator of the Peace is and how courts interpret laws and constitutions. If he undertsands he will be judged healthy enough to run.

Monday I will be at Shirley Price’s annoucements for Sussex County Council. She seems to be in good health and has the energy to run, but I may ask for something from her doctor. But we can talk about next week another time.

My health is good. Passed a stone last month. Have the medical records to prove it. Gotta run. I want to check Delaware Politics to see how paranoia works these days.

  5. Forget about checking Gordon’s scalp for horns. How are the hair plugs holding up?

BTW, Post of the Month! Perhaps the best ever from a Party chair.

  6. AG Biden attended Wednesday’s ceremony for fallen law enforcement officers, outside Legislative Hall on the Green. He didn’t address the gathering, and I didn’t speak with him this time, but he seemed well.

Mitch wins the Internets! What a hoot!!

Funny Mitch, didn’t see you at the City Dems fundraiser, thanks for the shout out to the City Dems for endorsing, supporting, and help win offices – in of course a backhanded manner- thx for your leadership
