The sad truth is that John Carney is an idiot

Filed in National by on March 13, 2014

That he continues to believe this austerity idiocy, that he thinks these grifters and frauds are his friends, and that he trumpets his stupidity and naivety on Facebook, shows that he is not very smart:

This morning I got together with my colleagues from the Bipartisan Working Group — a group I founded with my colleague Jim Renacci from Ohio. We sat down with Maya MacGuineas from Fix The Debt. Our goal was to find ways everyone – both Democrats and Republicans – can agree on to get deficits under control.

Jim Renacci is a partisan hack playing Carney for a fool, and we know that Fix the Debt has been completely exposed as a front for Billionaire Pete Peterson’s attempts to further enrich himself at the expenses of the American middle class, and yet John Carney plays the happy fool to give these frauds bipartisan cover.

Also, if you have a FB account please do me a favor go and “like” these comments on Congressman Carney’s FB page.

I love the first comment on this FB post:

I am more interested in ideas the committee came up with than that you </had a meeting….any details?

    and the reply by Carney:

we’re still working through all the ideas out there. I’d love to hear any thoughts you have about reducing the deficit.

I guess that was John’s attempt to be responsive.

  3. mediawatch says:

Or, more charitably, perhaps John thinks his constituents’ ideas will be more sensible than anything he heard from the folks on the other side of the aisle.

  4. Geezer says:

Sorry, John, not interested in getting deficit under control.

This guy needs to go to work in the private sector.

  5. Jason330 says:

How “moderate” and reasonable is John’s new buddy, Maya MacGuineas? So moderate that she thought taking the full faith and credit of the United States hostage was a good idea, “…failing to use this debt ceiling ‘hammer’ to force serious fiscal reforms would be a dangerous lost opportunity.”

John Carney is being played. I hate that we are represented by such a doofus in Congress.

So find a Progressive Democrat to primary him, although with about $1 million in his coffers the last time I looked (last October), that’ll be difficult.

So find a Progressive Democrat to primary him…

At this point I’ll even take a Libertarian.

  8. Jim C. says:

C’mon power ball, I’ll take him out, and, the other two idiots! Where are my meds? Quit dreaming…

I’ve got my hands full trying to figure out to get people to say that just in the 22nd Rep District.
