For the record, the war has cost $218 billion so far, so the 1,800 “completed” projects cost about $121 million EACH. I hope the Iraqi’s appreciate how lucky they are.

It is hard to remember how absolutely fucked up everything was under Bush. It was just crazy. I guess that why I hate John Carney for trying to make friends with Republicans. He is trying to sweep history under the rug.

Holy alternate reality. In 2005, building infrastructure, schools, and health facilities for women were seen as achievements. In Iraq. In 2013, the achievement is systematically dismantling them in this country.
