Not that he isn’t working on it.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Starving sea lion pups are washing up on Southern California beaches at a rate more than five times higher than usual, and scientists are scrambling to figure out why.
Since the beginning of the year, 1,293 emaciated sea lions found stranded on beaches from San Diego to Santa Barbara have been treated at seven facilities in the state, Sarah Wilkin of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Wednesday during a conference call with reporters.

He isn’t working on it. He is still foaming at the mouth about some kind of cover up over Benghazi.

  2. puck says:

Wake me up after they censure Reagan for the Beirut bombing (yawn). Anyway, isn’t “Benghazi” the latest crossover SUV?

  3. Paula says:

Did it occur to y’all that these Bengazi investigations are attempts to discredit Hilary Clinton in advance of a possible presidential run? That’s what occurred to me when I heard this was back on the agenda.

  4. puck says:

    D’ya think?

  5. Jason330 says:

Im not surprised that the Republicans are trying to make trouble for President H Clinton, but I’m a little surprised ther are so obvious about it.

From all the crap that she pulled at the Rose law firm, and all the shady dealings, to the stupid red button thing in Russia, to the failed Arab Spring, to the lying about some insignificant movie on youtube . Why do you consider this lady so special? She’s inept. The dirty tricks, the lying, the coverups. Without a willing media she would be a laughing stock. This is who you hold up as your guy for the next presidency. I’m sorry, but you guys are certifiable.

Rose law firm, shady dealings – millions of pages have been written about it, 60 million dollars were spent investigating it, and nada ever turned up. There is no there there, and no one cares other than people who are trying to care in an effort to somehow make empty accusations feel relevant somehow. The red button was silly, but it’s a goof, not the kind of thing anyone takes seriously. As far as Arab Spring goes, I don’t know which side you’re arguing – the McCain/neocon position (we should have provided more support to the rebels) or the Palin/Islamophobic position (we should have provided more support to our allies, the dictators). From my position, we watched democracy spread without American casualties. Win/win. The movie you already said was insignificant, so I’m not going to waste my breath. Republicans consider any foreign policy a failure if it doesn’t result in a decade-long war, so your assessment of “inept” is a joke to us. You voted for Bush twice, you can’t even begin to understand what makes a good president. You guys are still listening to Dick fucking Morris for chrisake! No one hates Hillary more than him, and the next time he’s right about something will be the first.

“Without a willing media she would be a laughing stock.”

As opposed to Republicans, who, even with a willing media, manage to be laughingstocks.

That’s sort of rich coming from the certifiable laughingstock who spends years hanging on his surfboard monitoring water levels to claim that climate change isn’t real.

Just to be accurate, X, Whitewater did result in 15 people being convicted of over 40 crimes, but not the Clintons (from Wiki):

Jim Guy Tucker: Governor of Arkansas at the time, removed from office (fraud, 3 counts)
John Haley: attorney for Jim Guy Tucker (tax evasion)
William J. Marks, Sr.: Jim Guy Tucker business partner (conspiracy)
Stephen Smith: former Governor Clinton aide (conspiracy to misapply funds). Bill Clinton pardoned.
Webster Hubbell: Clinton political supporter; Rose Law Firm partner (embezzlement, fraud)
Jim McDougal: banker, Clinton political supporter: (18 felonies, varied)
Susan McDougal: Clinton political supporter (multiple fraud) Bill Clinton pardoned.
David Hale: banker, self-proclaimed Clinton political supporter: (conspiracy, fraud)
Neal Ainley: Perry County Bank president (embezzled bank funds for Clinton campaign)
Chris Wade: Whitewater real estate broker (multiple loan fraud) Bill Clinton pardoned.
Larry Kuca: Madison real estate agent (multiple loan fraud)
Robert W. Palmer: Madison appraiser (conspiracy). Bill Clinton pardoned.
John Latham: Madison Bank CEO (bank fraud)
Eugene Fitzhugh: Whitewater defendant (multiple bribery)

And not a whit of it damages Hillary in any way.

Don’t forget Republicans blocked additional aid to protect our embassies.
