The Polling Report [3.20.13]

Filed in National by on March 20, 2013

NATIONAL–APPROVAL RATINGS–Rasmussen: Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) approval rating has plummeted since the November election to 35% approval and 54% disapproval. This is a pretty shocking polling collapse from last August, when his approval rate was 50% to 32%. I guess the public read his budget. I guess the American people don’t want his budget. So perhaps Paul Ryan can stop saying the American people want his budget. Yeah, asking a Republican to stop lying is like asking a bird to stop flying.

FLORIDA–GOVERNOR–PPP: Former Gov. Charlie Crist (D) 52, Gov. Rick Scott (R) 40.

Scott’s approval numbers have seen no improvement over the last two months, even after his decision to allow Medicaid expansion in Florida. 33% of voters continue to approve of the job he’s doing to 57% who disapprove.

FLORIDA–GOVERNOR–Quinnipiac: Crist (D) 50, Scott (R) 34

ARKANSAS–SENATE–Basswood Research: Rep. Tom Cotton (R) 43, Sen. Mark Pryor (D) 35

How popular in Paul Ryan in his district? Until they get sick of him, he can keep producing his ASFBs (Atlas Shrugged Fantasy Budget) until he cows come home.

Ryan lost Janesville for the first time in 2012, that’s the heart of the district. Budget fiasco number three is a clear indicator, the more you know, the more you hate.
