Sheriff Christopher really wants to be a real law enforcement officer. And yet, he wants the criminals armed with illegal weapons, I guess because Sheriff Christopher wants to be the underdog.

On second thought, when we each register, we should request a vegan meal, kosher, or if you’re really brave, request a Halal meal (food that’s allowed under Islamic guidelines).
You could ask if there will be a place for me to conduct youmidday prayer, my Dhrur, where I can roll out my prayer mat in the direction of Mecca.
You could ask if we can along our AR 15 so it could be inspected, signed or blessed by Sherrif Jeff. Or would it be better to just bring a smaller, concealed weapon, and perhaps cause less of a stir? Or will the training be one of the freedom-hating, gun-free zones?
Ok, I’m getting carried away. But if you could record that phone call, it would be awesome to listen to.

That’s pretty brilliant, Mongo — calling and asking for a Halal meal would be hysterical. Mainly because I suspect they wouldn’t know what it was. I think I’d also ask if they will have the long form birth certificates of the presenters on file for inspection. You can’t be too careful. Speaking of which, since we now have a non-European Pope, we should probably ask for long form baptismal certificates from these presenters too.
I’m drawing the line at a Crown Vic, tho.

I can’t seem to find any info on if DelTech gun free zone. I am pretty sure it is. It would be interesting to see what is said at this event and what sort of “training” they give.

In reading the comments above, I now know that I was correct in my writing of my post titled, “Optics” over at Delaware Right, http://www.delawareright.com/optics/ , when I wrote that the tactics employed by many on the right are allowing the rest of the conservative movement to be painted in a less than positive light. I know many of you here feel that all conservatives are represented by the few, but let me assure you this is not the case. While we may share some of the same concerns about social and fiscal issues, many like myself approve of the angry and dangerous rhetoric employed by some. While I do worry about the effect of some of the decisions being made by our law makers on both sides of the political field, I am not an “end of the worlder”, and while I do worry about the ever growing role of government in my personal life, I have never used the word tyranny in order to ramp up support for my views. While I may disagree with many of you, I would hope that we could talk and find that oh! so narrow common ground.

I think most of us realize that not all conservatives are as dangerous as jeff Christopher
And his ilk- trouble is, the powers that be in your part won’t cut him loose nor publicly denounce him
So, he bullies the party and continues to make the Republicans and the conservatives in particular look really really bad.
It’s ok to have inter-party disagreements but its NOT ok to try to rule supreme and run amok – unchecked and unchallenged!
However- it never hurts to step up and clearly state your side- and it actually takes some guts
So thanks for the clarity- now-

I think we need a class action lawsuit against Jeff Christopher for wasting 950,000 Delaware’s taxpayers dollars with frivolous faux Constitutional challenges….
I heard Dewey Beach has a good lawyer who can and does win class action lawsuits with huge damages!!!

Also, the Arby’s you’re directing people to is a Hardee’s. Arby’s is across the highway to the north, not at the intersection.
