In the entire realm of human experience, there is nothing like being in college. You have all the freedom and rights of adulthood and few (if any) of the responsibilities. You have youthful good looks and fit bodies and are in a place where you can live a life of the mind.

When I hear people say, “College wasn’t for me.” I don’t get it. To my ears, it sounds like they are saying, “Life wasn’t for me.”

  5. one of my favorite quotes from “It’s a Wonderful Life”
