If I thought praying would help, I’d pray my ass off for this to happen…

Is Sarah Palin the new Ronald Reagan?

By Charlotte Allen

The Republican Party has been doing a lot of hand-wringing and finger-pointing since the presidential election. Half the conservative columnists and bloggers say the GOP lost because it overemphasized social issues such as abortion and gay marriage. The other half says the party didn’t emphasize them enough. And everyone denounces Project ORCA, the campaign’s attempt to turn out voters via technology.

But I’ve got a suggestion for cutting short the GOP angst: Sarah Palin for president in 2016.

You think I’m joking? Think again.

Yes… I’ve seen quite a bit of this in the right blogosphere lately.

    I think it’s a ploy.

The GOP is clearly not sending their elite troops onto the battlefield first.

That was one of the worst-reasoned pieces of silliness I’ve ever read — though I do enjoy seeing that conservative female pundits, just like their male counterparts, do a lot of intellectual masturbating in public.

Conservatives apparently never tire of constructing absurd scenarios by ignoring elephant-in-the-room-sized truths — in this case, Sarah Palin’s extremely high disapproval numbers.

By all means, Sarah Palin for the Republican candidate in 2016! Nothing like a political slaughter to wake people up, admittedly a difficult thing for the Republicans.
