I agree with wingnuts on this: Romney wasn’t conservative enough

From the Daily Caller:

WASHINGTON – Conservative leaders are steaming that Republicans failed to make President Obama a one-term president and are criticizing Mitt Romney for not pursuing a conservative enough agenda in the presidential race.

At a news conference at the National Press Club the day after the election, Richard A. Viguerie, the chairman of ConservativeHQ.com, even called for the removal of Republican leaders like RNC chairman Reince Priebus, National Republican Senatorial Committee chairman John Cornyn, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner.

“Republican leaders behind the epic election failure of 2012 should be replaced with leaders more in tune to the conservative base of the Republican party,” he said.

…also, Romney didn’t talk about outlawing abortion enough, or scoff at climate change with enough Romanesque brio.

But… but… Romney only did better in the polls once he shook the etch-a-sketch from severely conservative to Moderate to Liberal Mitt. But I must be wrong, because… ConservativeHQ.

Honestly, these guys are their own worst enemies.

That’s awesome. This is the Denial portion of the 5 Stages of Grief. Because it is clear that there are not enough in the “conservative base” to elect a President.

ps. Bet Michael Steele is doing the Hammer Dance right about now.

Knew it, thier trotting out the insanity of “not conservative enough”, as if Americans actually buy thier crap. None of the far right has admitted that they have become extreme, far too radical to be elected in much of the country. But by all means get rid of Rinse Privates for his very name doth offend me.

Joe Biden was at the Return Day Parade. I didn’t hear whether Ryan rode in the buggy with him.
