Waiting with DD, LG, xstryker for Rmoney’s concession speech at the Queen. Seriously this is a sweet win.  Can’t wait for President Obama to speak and for these CNN people to shut up.

Tell us of your first sighting of the “we need to be more conservative” excuse.

  3. pandora says:

Thank you, Rusty. That was very gracious.

  4. pandora says:

I’m waiting for Romney’s speech, too. He will give one, won’t he?

  5. socialistic ben says:

generally, you dont give a victory speech until after there has been a concession speech…. Romney may not give one just to try and deny Obama his moment. It kinda fits with the kind of party he’s in.

  6. John Young says:

    pandora, I don’t know. He’s a bit of a dick.

If there is/was any doubt about McCain having more class than Romeny or being more honorable, put that to bed.

  7. Delaware Dem says:

Mitt Romney is a traitorous sore child-like loser. I wish nothing but petulance and destruction upon him. Obama has won without Ohio. Concede already like an adult. If you are one.

  8. V says:

Oh man, you know if he finally does that one son of his’ serial killer face is going to be EPIC.

  9. Delaware Dem says:

McCain is much more honorable than Romney. Romney is pure evil. McCain is not.

And Harry Reid is calling out the GOP this evening.

We’ll need to start working on our Senators to change the filibuster rules.

  11. Liberal Elite says:

@c “We’ll need to start working on our Senators to change the filibuster rules.”

Be careful what you wish for. This is a probably a rather bad idea.

  12. liberalgeek says:

I want the filibuster to require a senator to actually speak in the Senate to delay.

  13. V says:

i’m down with LG. Let them keep it, but make them work for it.

  14. John Young says:

    right on LG!

  15. puck says:

Filibusters always hurt Democrats more than they help them. There are always enough feckless Democrats to vote with Republicans to break any filibuster of a GOP bill – that is, if Democrats even bother to mount a filibuster.

Democrats will happily help create a supermajority for the worst Republican bills. The Bush tax cuts passed in 2010 with 81 Senators. Alito was nominated with 75 votes (after John Kerry phoned in his filibuster from the Swiss Alps). The FISA filibuster failed when 80 Senators voted for it.

The only reason in sight to keep the filibuster might be for Democrats to defy Obama to block a bad Grand Bargain, one that cuts the safety net or expands any of the tax cuts for the rich. And that filibuster will never happen.

Wow, almost a perfect night. Allen, done; Akin, no thanks; marriage equality in MD, and Allen West… buh-bye. Lets place bets on how fast West sings his contract as the next Fox news “analyst.” I’m guessing the ink has just started to dry. If only Bachmann would have seen the same fate.

    Go Bronco Bamma!

Mitt, hit the road. Strap your dogma to your karma and head on back to one of your homes. Don’t forget to file your amended taxes!

  18. mynym says:

Congratulations. Good luck with sequestration or trying to get representation for poor Americans instead of defense contractors and all the wealth that trickles down or derives from them in various states… you’ll probably need it.

  19. mynym says:

Strap your dogma to your karma…

Good one, but Delawareans may have a karma of their own sorts due to trying to be incorporated into building highly energy intensive $100,000 cars/indulgences for people like Justin Bieber to save the world with their moral vanity instead of working to lower the bills of little old ladies. And you know what they say about Karma.
