… How Romney got away without releasing his tax returns?

Nice work from our free press.

The question now is… is this just special Romney treatment, or are the days of politicians releasing tax returns gone forever.

Also, too, I’m expecting politicians to start “not letting their campaigns be dictated by fact-checkers.”

Mitt Romney probably won’t win tomorrow, but he may have actually brought “real change” to American politics.

Some go to Amsterdam for the ganja. Mitt went there to launder his cash free of tax

Good thing they have newspapers in the Netherlands.

I’m more outraged about how Romney earned his ill gotten gains.

    1. Buy a company
    2. Borrow large amounts of money for company
    3. Sell any assets worth anything
    3. Pay yourself a whole heaping handful of $$$
    4. Make/find an empty shell company
    5. Sell troubled company to empty shell
    6. walk away

Net result. Pensions and 401k’s stolen as the company goes into real bankruptcy.
He didn’t just cost the workers their jobs… He stole their futures.

It’s not like the outwitted other clever rich investors… He went right at the working class in a shameless manner.

Do NOT vote for Romney. He truly sees us as marks to exploit.

And this is one reason why all retirement funds should be managed by someone other than the employer. No employer can significantly devalue my pension or 401k if it is invested in a diverse portfolio.

With the internet as prolific as it is now, I don’t think it’ll matter if a candidate “refuses” to let his/her campaign be dictated by fact-checkers. It’ll be checked anyway whether they like it or not, because that stuff matters and will continue to matter to many people.

There are, and will be, people who want to know whether they’re hearing BS or actual truth (or whatever’s in-between). Just as there are people who can’t think for themselves and need to be told what to think. Besides, it’s sort of a competition now. “Which candidate told the most lies? Check out politicianBSdetectors.org tomorrow!”

We pretty much know Romney did everything he could to pay as little taxes as possible. We just don’t know exactly what he did. We’ll never know…Hopefully it won’t matter at all after tomorrow.
