If you play the video back in slow motion, you can see the black guy standing behind Joe make a bolt for the door as soon as the “back in chains” comment was made.

The thing that Democrats have failed at (in general) is not backing down to the faux outrage. We’ll see if Team Obama has everyone in line today and tomorrow.
On the bright side for Romney, nobody has asked him for his tax returns for several days now. The press seems to have lost interest. Maybe Romney has stopped the bleeding.

Agreed, Jason. DNC did apologize about the dancing therapy horse (the multi-millionaire’s version of a Rascal scooter). So hopefully Obama’s team can avoid that mistake.
