Obama Ad keeps hitting Romney on tax secrecy

Filed in National by on August 10, 2012

I love how Team Obama is using the tax secrecy issue to continue to kick Romney while he is down. Also, notice how this ad slyly revisits Harry Reid’s “0%” tax rate assertion. That is a bare knuckle beat down….daring Romney to whimper for an apology.

Boohya!

I believe Romney made tax issues fair when he claims that the wealthy bear too high a burden. Tax fairness should be a source of agreement for both parties.

The release of Romney’s tax returns would put the lie to the claim that tax cuts for the wealth create jobs.

Jobs for Swiss bankers? Jobs for Cayman Island accountants? Maybe. Jobs for American workers? Oh hell no.

Jason, it seems you have a lot in common with Romney. You know, you both being trust fund brats and all. Oh, actually, I guess you don’t. Romney actually decided to work hard, increase his wealth, and do something with his life after he became an adult. You did none of those things. You decided to sit on your couch, get heavy and incessantly cry and moan. You were even kicked off you own little blog for a while there, but DelaDem and the others knew you had nothing else, so they let you back in. I can see, then, why you resent Romney so much. He is everything that you are not…including a decent, caring human being.

Trevor: How sad. What’s it say about you if you’re obsessed with someone you claim deserves so little attention?

By the way, where is the evidence that Romney “worked hard”? Making money has little in common with how hard one works, and Mitt Romney is the proof.

Another thing I don’t have in common with Romney, I pay taxes.
