Sheriff Christopher sure is a whiner.

We just received a letter from an anonymous tipster that insane teabagger Sheriff Jeff Christopher has sent to "Delaware State Attorneys" and "Delaware State Court and Justices." I really do wonder if Sheriff Christopher has sent this letter to all attorneys in the State of Delaware, as there is no "Delaware State Attorneys" office. I suppose he meant this letter to go to the Attorney General's office. I also wonder if every employee of the the state judicial system and every Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court has received this letter. In the letter, Christopher blasts them all for taking away his "power" and then complains to them that Sussex County Council (controlled by Republicans, mind you) has refused to replace two of his deputies due to budgetary concerns. He views the Council's actions as an "attack on himself" due to his lawsuit to unconstitutionally expand his powers past that of being a process server in Sussex County. General Assembly Post-Game Wrap-Up/Pre-Game Show: Thurs., June 7, 2012

Campaign finance reform passed the Senate yesterday, and heads to the Governor. My sophisticated analysis can be summed up as follows: HB 300(Gilligan), good. HB 310(Longhurst), bad, but nowhere near as important as HB 300. It’s really kinda like a hitchhiker, with 300 driving the car. And so insubstantial that 300 probably wouldn’t ask for gas money. Kids, if you’re as alarmed at that last paragraph as I am, you can do something about it. I fear that I am in the early stages of TAS (Tortured Analogy Syndrome)

I’m Updating the Blogroll

And you will notice that "The Left" category is back. You see, what happened a couple of months ago was I broke the link fooling around under the hood. Well, in preparation of updating the Delaware Blogosphere blogroll, I just figured out how to fix it. So now, please enlighten us on the best Delaware political and non political blogs you are reading. I know about the Libertarian "Tully's page" now. Any other new (or new to me) ones?

Metropolitan Government and Why The NJ Is Wrong About It

The editorial page of the NJ features a piece from John Sweeney that attempts to advocate for Metropolitan Government for Wilmington and New Castle County. He also takes the opportunity to blame the public sector unions and Democrats for why it won't work here. Let's take this apart abit so we can see how Delaware's newspaper of record is failing its readers again.

The Polling Report [6.7.12]

The Polling Report is back after the disappointment in Wisconsin. Interestingly, the exit poll from Wisconsin showed Obama winning Wisconsin 54% to 42%. That is Strong Obama territory, and I have updated the map accordingly. Today, we have new polls out of Florida, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, showing Pennsylvania becomes a non-swing state, Connecticut staying one, and Florida wanting to become one. So let's update our map:
