Payday lobbyist Dave Swayze keeps saying the 1981 Financial Center Development Act will be destroyed by HB 289, Rep. Helene Keeley’s modest anti-payday lending bill. Watch Swayze spin for predatory lenders in this WHYY “First” report by Shirley Min.

Sarkozy comes to the inauguration of Hollande.
“Oh, Welcome Nicolas. Coming for swearing in the French…?”
“Who told you I was still swearing in French ?!?”

“Hello, I’m Panagiotis Pikramenos, the new leader of Greece.”
“Oh. Welcome to the Euro meeting.”
“Pleased to be here. I hope there’s food.”
“Of course… So what are your big plans for the future. Everyone here is talking about you.”
“Oh. I don’t know. I’ll probably be job hunting next week.”

President Romney, President Obama, and Santa Clause have a chugging contest…. who wins?

  7. Liberal Elite

    That’s an ambiguous one.

    1. Wouldn’t that depend on the definition of ‘chugging’ that you want to use?
    2. Wouldn’t it depend on what’s being chugged?
    3. And what’s with that extra ‘e’? Do you mean the stupid character from the Santa Clause movies, or the traditional Santa Claus, or perhaps even the original Saint Nicklaus?
    4. Might it depend on what ‘wins’ means?
