How Much Don’t West Virginians Like Obama?

Filed in National by on May 10, 2012

West Virginians don’t like President Obama so much 41% of them voted for a felon with a mullet.

Race likely plays some role here. In the 2008 primary, 2 in 10 white West Virginia voters said race was an important factor in their votes, second only to Mississippi. Those voters went for Clinton 8 in 10 times.

After much debate in the Nemski household, we decided that Keith Judd’s hairstyle was a mullet as it proscribed to the business in the front, party in the back mantra of mullet wearers.

I’m not the data guru, what percentage of black voters in West Virginia or Nationwide said race was a factor? Payne from FOX, JayZ, Sam Jackson, Shaq, yeah but is there data on that?

I wouldn’t throw too many rocks at West Virginia living in Delaware with window panes made of glass, YMMV.

“Two in 10 white West Virginia voters said that race was an important factor in their vote, and more than 8 in 10 of them backed Mrs. Clinton, according to surveys of voters leaving the polls.” From the NY Times piece linked from the blog you linked. Got a study on that one? Just curious.

Uhh, there are no black voters in WV… to speak of… Total population of blacks there 3.4. Black owned businesses.. 0% Anti-felon and non registration laws probably remove 2% of those from showing up at the polls.

    WV High School Graduates 81%
    Bachelors’s degree 17%

Obviously this vote does not make Obama look bad. It makes West Virginians look as dumb as they are on TV….

Both North Carolina, West Virginia, and Sussex County are simply behind on the social maturity curve. You heard Obama tell of his evolution. All of you, probably went through a similar evolutions. I know did, and mine has been documented…

It was actually through blogging that I came to accept gay marriage. Mike Makerjeski, Markeriski, Magerislki,, awww heck, I’ll just say Mike M. Those of you from the old days know of whom I speak. He liked ice cream from the Dairy Palace if that helps.

It was him that opened my eyes and since then, gay marriage been the only option that makes sense.

But others live in different worlds. They have not had those experiences that have blessed our lives. To them, gays are a lifestyle trying to pervert them. They simply know not what they do.

    So engage them.

When they learn that gays are real people, exactly like them, exactly… they will have less objection against allowing them true long lasting happiness…

West Virginians usually vote for whoever they are paid to vote for. I’m not joking, look it up.

  5. kavips says:

X Striker is correct. One there were very few votes cast out of the total population. Two, someone had to be driving those votes. Reading the full story it is just too unconventional to accept the base story line: a felon in prison spent his own money to run in a primary; instead of hiring an attorney? Is this guy even real? or is the whole story another hoax…

There is a machine in WV. We now know it’s level is pegged around 40,000 votes.

But, perhaps these bosses aren’t as stupid as they appear. WV is hurting. It needs Federal dollars as it always has, to stay afloat.
Quite possibly, this is simply extortion, saying, Did you forget about us? Send money our way.

I don’t think a victory in West Virginia is in the President’s battle plan this time around. Don’t look for him to campaign there extensively.

  7. Ummm…people do realize that President Obama got more votes than Mitt Romney in the WV primary right? This felon almost got as many votes as Romney. I guess this WV nuttiness could explain why Joe Manchin is such a dick.
