It is nit a “stretch” to believe this celebration is an excuse for beverage industry to profit on this Mexican holiday- Perhaps we should celebrate some other non- American incident to make it more diverse – perhaps the victory at Lepanto or Waterloo or stalingrad
Strangely enough, and I have to giggle, this “Holiday”, is not celebrated south of the border. I am an American Of Mexican heritage.
My family is from New Mexico. Well that is to say, New Mexico as we know it, just Mexico when my Grandfather was born.
