Ken Grant is one of the sane DE Republicans? Really?

Filed in National by on April 23, 2012

He claims to be, and yet Grant plans to vote for Gingrich and has taken to facebook to explain why. His feeling were hurt by Romney or something. So, c’mon y’all – let’s vote for an utter maniac!! That sounds good.

Who can figure out Republicans these day? I sure can’t. Take Gingrich for example. What’s with Gingrich’s Delaware Strategy? He is planning on using Delaware as a springboard back into legitimacy? Seriously. What’s the deal?

  1. Can Newt Gingrich Win Delaware? : Delaware Liberal | April 24, 2012

Ken, I agree with you. However, I am emotionally preparing myself for four more years of Obama. Romney can not beat Obama and Republicans need to wrap their heads around that fact. It is disappointing that out of 310 million citizens in the… USA, these are the best people we can come up with to run our country. Sad. The demographics of our nation has changed and if the Republican party doesn’t wake up, it is unlikely they will win another national election. The ratio of Neocons to Independents and Democrats is shrinking. If they continue to maintain their current positions, in a few years they will be able to hold their national convention in a Holiday Inn conference room.

I just liked this comments from Ken’s facebook thread. I know it is post pimping to put up the furst comment, but it is an election year…so…

Delaware is made for Gingrich. He’s running out of money but he can come here to campaign without spending anything on advertising. (This primary has done nothing to help the bottom lines of any of the local print or broadcast media.) Even if he wins Delaware, he will not chip into Romney’s lead.
He’s practicing the same delusional politics that Delaware Republicans do every four years, when they say they’ll only vote for the guy that campaigns here. Remember Steve Forbes? We all know how that turned out.
Delusional candidate, delusional voters. Within that demographic subset, Ken Grant is sane, but it’s not a subset to be taken seriously.

    Jason,
Don’t be silly. This very website is encouraging people to vote for Tom Kovach for similar reasons.

Carper has done much more than simply hurt my feelings. (although my hurt feelings certainly come into play.)

  5. hmmm says:

Tom Kovach is running for US Senate?

Some Republican tomato can is. I’ve backed off being pissed off at Carney. He went through a rough patch when he couldn’t open his pie hole without sounding like a Republican. He’s cleaned up his act though.
