The premise of “Lead-up to Labor Day may determine winner of presidential race” is not who is leading by Labor Day will win, that is obviously false – ask John McCain. But the idea behind this “Inside Baseball” is that the next 60 to 90 days “may be among the most important of the general election.” Sometimes reading articles about politics during the election is like listening to sports announcers stating the obvious, “If he caught that ball, it would have been a touchdown!”.
