The Constitutional Sheriff Theory

If you want to dive into the deep end of crazy, click through to The CSPOA. There you will learn that County Sheriffs are the highest law keeping authority “in the land” by reading letters like this one…

Dear Friends,

What would you do if you knew you had just one chance to save your family and country from complete and utter destruction? What would you do if you knew there was a lawful and peaceful way to restore the Constitution and its Bill of Rights as the supreme law of the land?

Did you know that the Sheriff is the highest constitutional executive authority in the county?
Very few people realize that the Sheriff has the legitimate authority to prevent federal agents from entering the county – or the power to throw them out once they are there.

Poking around, you will learn that the county sheriff is not only the highest and best cop we have, but also our local judge and one man jury.

The county sheriff is the line in the sand. The county sheriff is the one who can say to the feds, “Beyond these bounds you shall not pass.” This is not only within the scope of the sheriff’s authority; it’s the sheriff’s sworn duty. And what about the little guys; the individual police officers? It’s all about judgement (sic) calls. When you pull over a frazzled apologetic mother with a minivan full of crazed kids who has just ‘rolled’ a stop sign, do you treat her the same as you would a pack of bad-mouthed teenagers in a hot rod that smells like dope for the same offense? The people of this land would certainly hope that you would have more charity than that, and we at the CSPOA believe that you do.

Remember to ask yourself, “What is the purpose of this law I am enforcing? Am I helping to serve the people and protect their rights by doing this, or am I doing something else entirely?”

This is why we encourage you, the next time you hear “Serve and Protect” to repeat in your own mind the true meaning, embodied in our slogan: To Serve The People And Protect Their Rights.

But wait!! Do you need even more crazy? Check out the legitimate sounding “Hillsdale College Constitutional Courses” and enroll in the totally free online course: The Meaning and History of the Constitution.

Whoever is underwritting the county’s liability insurance must be freaking out.

Do people still use the term “hot rod”?

  4. When Rep. Short got up to table the bill yesterday, Schwartzkopf had a mouthful and it was almost all directed at WGMD.

He listed the falsehoods and read passages from the WGMD web site while patiently sorting out fact from fiction. Oh My!

    Thanks Pete!

  5. Bodie was in the Chamber yesterday but he didn’t get on his knees….

“Georgetown resident Eric Bodenweiser literally got on his knees pleading with council to withdraw its support of the bill. “This bill is being fast-tracked,” he said.
He pointed to the assembled crowd in council chambers – most in support of Christopher and against the bill. “This isn’t occupy anything. These people are the salt of the earth; these people are your constituents. Please, make peace today and take this bill off the record like it never happened,” he said.
Bodenweiser asked council to forgive him. “I’m sorry for my activism on this, but please kill this bill,” he said.”

I just saw the Video of Bodenweiser at the sheriff rally. Hilarious on early Earl loflands face book page. He got on his knees, murmured something stupid to Vance Phillips, had a hard hat with him, called Sam Wilson a father, said he was the like a son to Sam, put words in Sams wife’s mouth, and also looked like a fool. If anyone gets a chance check it out a classic for sure. What a whack job. The article does it no justice the video is much better.

Just wait, rumor has it he is planning round 2 next Tuesday. Hopefully more people show up in support of HB 290 and don’t let these lunatics speak for all of Sussex County.
