If anyone votes (other than meh) for Carney, I’d like to hear your rational. I’m persuadable.

  2. Delaware Dem says:

I voted “Approve,” because I am not yet sold on the idea that he is Carper Junior. I think he is still trying to find his way, and outright Carperism is not it. He issued a statement supporting the President’s budget when other blue dogs were criticizing it. That earns a plus in my book.

  3. Jason330 says:

I hear ya. The jury is still out, but I thought that statement was pretty wishy-washy and very Castle-esque.

I think he is vying to be Castle Jr, not Carper Jr.

  4. Delaware Dem says:

Castle Jr. is somehow preferrable to me, over Carper Jr.

  5. DE Idealist says:

    82% disapproval rating- Ouch!

  6. anontoo says:

Only 64% strongly disapprove of Karen Weldin Stewart? I thought the number would be even higher. Wonder who the measly 12% of voters are who “strongly approve” of her.

  7. Jason330 says:

Sen. Harris McDowell, Councilman John Cartier, an optometrist, a chiropractor, and…two construction trade union guys. Joseph P. Durham, Business Rep. for Carpenters Local 626, and Douglas Drummond,

  8. jpconnorjr says:

    D. O. does not stand for optometrist guys:)

  9. anontoo says:

So 82% disapprove of KWS to some degree, plus the 6% Meh’s is 88%. Those numbers are about as crappy as you can get. Chance of reelection: 0%

  10. uhm, ever heard of the term ‘singing to the choir’?

  11. anontoo says:

The term is actually “preaching to the choir”. Sure hope you’ve become part of it by now.
