Ron Paul’s Man Crush

Filed in National by on January 9, 2012

The difference between Saturday night’s debate and Sunday morning’s debate was quite startling, but one thing remained consistent between the two.  Ron Paul will go after anyone but Mitt Romney.

I have no idea why… do you?

Paul can’t possibly think Mitt will pick him as VP, so what’s up with this?  Also, since only Paul and Romney made it on the Virginia primary ballot you’d think Paul would be looking to make up some ground by taking a few swipes at Mitt.

Interesting. Is it a strategic or philosophical choice for Paul? If strategic, I don’t get it. If philosophical, it makes a little more sense. Romney is the very embodiment of hyper-laissez-faire capitalism (expect for inventing socialized medicine).

If no candidate ends up with a majority of delegates, Ron Paul’s delegates could be the difference in getting Romney the nomination. If Paul knows he can’t win, maybe he is hoping to get enough delegates to extract something from Romney in exchange for Paul’s delegates.

Need to wrap up the Stormfront demo! Those Christians don’t like Mitt’s version too much.
