For the first time, the Gallup daily tracking poll shows Mitt Romney breaking through his previous ceiling of support. Romney now leads the Republican presidential field with 31%, followed by Rick Santorum at 18%, Newt Gingrich at 16%, Ron Paul at 13%, Rick Perry at 6% and Jon Huntsman at 1%.

“Those of us who believe in free markets and those of us who believe that in fact the whole goal of investment is entrepreneurship and job creation, we find it pretty hard to justify rich people figuring out clever legal ways to loot a company, leaving behind 1,700 families without a job.” So says Newt Gingrich, quoted by the New York Times, on Mitt Romney’s business career. Thanks Newt.

And Newt will be using the $5M he got from one of his pals to go after Romney on exactly this point. There’s even a trailer:

Can’t wait to see the whole thing.

A new Quinnipiac poll in Florida finds Mitt Romney leading the GOP presidential race with 36%, followed by Newt Gingrich at 24%, Rick Santorum at 16% and Ron Paul at 10%.

Newt and his billionaire buddy are part of the 99% now. Oh man, my popcorn supply is going to be severely depleted.

BTW – who doesn’t love the name “Bain Capital?” It is like the bad guy’s business from a Marvel comic book. I guess “Havoc Capital,” “Annihilation Capital,” and “Charred Corpse Capital” were all taken.

    Mr. 99%er…

MANCHESTER, NH — “You have to ask the question, is capitalism really about the ability of a handful of rich people to manipulate the lives of thousands of people and then walk off with the money?”

Who said it — Elizabeth Warren? Dennis Kucinich? Noam Chomsky?

LMAO. Del Dem is right. Thanks Newt.
