Former House Members Eligible to Begin Their New Lobbying Careers

About a dozen former House members who maintain D.C. offices in law firms became eligible last week to return to Capitol Hill as lobbyists.

Former House members are barred from lobbying Congress until the one-year anniversary of their departures from the legislative branch. The passing of the anniversary on Jan. 3 made almost 100 former House members, who left office following the 2010 elections, eligible to lobby their former colleagues.

The group includes ..Michael Castle (R-Del.) of DLA Piper...

Castle’s online law firm biographies states that he has spent some time at the Washington offices of DLA Piper over the past year.

*FTR – I’m not sure if there is an actual “House Republican Sex Dungeon” but I think we can all assume that there is one.

One of Obama’s many broken campaign promises was to do away with that revolving door and the corruption it breeds.

Yeah. And why hasn’t Obama brought back “Arrested Development” yet?

Carper to hold another one of his “on the phone” town halls…too scared to face the voters? He supports getting rid of the Postal Service rather than undue the dirt Bush did to it. How many jobs will be lost? I will vote for anyone by Tom Carpetbagger, repuke.
