Here is another “racist” post for Hube.

You wanna know why everyone everywhere believes Herman Cain has absolutely no chance to win the Presidency?

This ad below. Watch it all the way until the end. At the :40 second mark, it gets spectacularly funny and horrible at the same time.

  1. Smokers of ??? For Cain!

  2. Delaware Dem says:

It’s not even that. Well, it’s that. PLUS the music and the long shot of Cain. Add it all together and … I am not sure what you get but it ain’t the Presidency.

  3. nemski says:

Best political ad ever. This is up there with LBJ’s “Daisy” ad. Simply brilliant.

  4. OMG, you have to watch Cain’s “He Carried Yellow Flowers” ad. It is so awesome. Teleprompter! Community organizer!

  5. liberalgeek says:

    Nice chicken, honey!

  6. anon says:

I’m not even sure what I just saw.

  7. skippertee says:

    Twas Cain slew Able.

  8. Free Market Democrat says:

Smoke ’em if ya got ’em!

If you can find a clip from Morning Joe on MSNBC as they watch this commercial, its hysterical!

  9. puck says:

    Rebel without a clue.

  10. Geezer says:

Looked like a Nathan Thurm moment.

  11. anon says:

The window grid in the background brings to mind a swastika. It creates a subliminal association Nazis that you would tend to try an avoid in this type of political ad.

And yet Hermincane continues to swirl to the top of the polls.

  12. I figured Cain’s abortion gaffes would sink him this week. Apparently not – not yet anyway. A new national poll had him up on Romney & 2 state polls, Wisconsin and Nevada had him leading and a close second, respectively.

  13. puck says:

Cain’s pro-choice abortion statement is the Libertarian position. So it probably won’t cut his Republican support immediately, but it will put a ceiling on it at no more than 30% (or whatever the Libertarian-leaning component of the GOP primary base is).

Romney and Cain aren’t going to get any social conservative votes. They will all go to Perry.

  14. I read Amanda Marcotte this morning and she made a good case that Cain’s position is really the pro-life position – I.e. it should be illegal because it’s bad but it shouldn’t really be enforced.
