IOWA CITY, Iowa — Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain has cast himself as the outsider, the pizza magnate with real-world experience who will bring fresh ideas to the nation’s capital. But Cain’s economic ideas, support and organization have close ties to two billionaire brothers who bankroll right-leaning causes through their group Americans for Prosperity.

and he just lost them the Republican Latinos in Texas and Arizona:

“Texas Director of Somos Republicans comment before he made decision to leave the GOP. He said: “This is no longer Gov Wallace shouting “..segregation forever!” but Hitler shouting about the “Jewish menace.”

Now, before anyone jumps on the Hitler reference and the hopefully OUR new sensitivity to it, Cain’s remarks about wanting to kill immigrants trying to cross into the United States (ok, yes EWI entry without permission) do run a parallel to what Hitler said about the “Jewish Menace”.

Simply put – what was once rhetoric in the 30’s became reality in the 40’s. Is that where Herman Cain wants to go again? Is he looking to repeat history?

HE probably doesnt, but im willing to bet a LARGE number of republican primary voters…. especially in the south.. have been wanting that their entire lives.

don’t you think it’s more the news cycle having beaten all the other horses to death is the real reason for Cain. They saved the black guy for last mostly b/c they didn’t think he would hang this long (nothing to do with race wink wink)

Ron Paul is never getting his due….so after Cain crashes and burns, it’s back to Romney and for the next 12 months they will try to make it seem close.

Obama wins, but not a mandate…god no.
