Andrew Staton expected to run for new Senate seat.
Andrew Staton, a Rehoboth Beach realtor and chairman of the 14th District Democratic Committee, announced today on his Facebook page that he is “considering a run for the new State Senate Seat covering Dewey, Rehoboth, Lewes, and Milton.”

The need to purge our party of people that don’t take their responsibilities to the people of Delaware is an unending job and it takes a concentrated effort. We have to often choose our battles so that we can win a few rather than lose a bunch of them. In 2012, we will again be in a target-rich environment.

Senate President Pro Tem Anthony DeLuca must voluntarily release his employment information as requested under FIOA. Failing that, he must resign.
The General Assembly must ban, once and for all, the practice of double dipping: no legislator may hold a second state job.
