Katie Takes it to Glenn

Filed in National by on January 26, 2011

You know how when you turn a light on in dank dark room and the roaches squirm to find a place to hide… well this is one of those moments… but there is nowhere to hide this time. Watch today’s “Father Coughlin” wriggle like the slime he is.

  1. Capt.Willard says:

You know how when you shine a fluorescent bulb on your crotch to high-light the vermin living there?
    Well, I don’t.
But this segment wasn’t long enough to satisfy my hunger to see that slug slowly salted.

  2. Jane says:

That was absolutely pathetic. I loved the way she just let him stew in his own juice. Even he can’t (or won’t in front of a neutral audience) explain the BS that comes out of his mouth. And his efforts to deflect were downright embarrassing. Pathetic.

  3. Isn’t this clip like at least a year old? Still a classic, of course.

  4. MJ says:

Try to keep it classy, Capt.

  5. Joe Cass says:

Is the Capt. saying that Gbeck is spending time in my crotch? Well fox and clear channel have been infective as well. Comcast to bring a broadcast to you soon.

  6. jason330 says:

How dare she ask him that? “What do you mean bu that?” Yellow liberal journalism, a textbook case.

  7. socialistic ben says:

that was absolutely delightful. what a horrible little shit that guy is.
I wish him good health and hope he lives long enough to see everyone remember him to be a fraudulent buffoon who damaged the nation simply be existing.

  8. Auntie Dem says:

It absolutely amazes me that he has a following and people watch that crap. I recently attended a luncheon of old ladies where one of the women was a Beckite. Even after everyone else at the table denounced what she was spouting she refused to believe she’d been lied to. Totally brainwashed.

  9. anon says:

It absolutely amazes me that he has a following and people watch that crap.

    Agreed. Same goes for Katie.

  10. MJ says:

    You’re a fool, anon.

  11. Geezer says:

While I don’t watch network news or Glenn Beck more than occasionally, something’s wrong with your synapses if you think there’s any relation between a network news program and Glenn Beck’s show. I guess a blog comments column, like a good interviewer, lets fools fashion their own nooses.

  12. anon says:

I guess Katie’s news coverage is good enough for Third Way “centrists.”

  13. Geezer says:

Never said it was. Just noted the false equivalency you were pushing.

  14. anon says:

    You’re a fool, anon.

    Is that all you got?

  15. MJ says:

It’s better than anything you’ve ever offered on this blog. I could have called you a fucking idiot, but I wanted to be nice.

  16. Joe American says:

Come on — your average roach is much more intelligent and attractive than Katie is.

  17. MJ says:

And anyone is much more intelligent than your average Texan, eh Joe.

  18. Joe American says:

Hardly — your state is home to C O’D — and Joe Biden.

  19. MJ says:

Is that the best you can do? What a wanker.

  20. Joe American says:

Well, it would appear that Biden and O’Donnell are the best you folks have to offer.

  21. John Tobin says:

I have not seen it get mentioned here, but I think it is pretty big news that WPHT (1210 AM out of Philadelphia-a big market) has dropped both Glenn Beck & Sean Hannity in favor of two local guys- Dom Giordano & Michael Smerconish.Giordano & Smerconish are both Republicans to the right of middle, but are a lot less shrill than Beck & Hannity and occasionally take stands outside the party line. I am not sure if this is a rejection of Beck/Hannity politics, a push towards local braodcasting or strictly a financial thing (or a combination of factors).

  22. Stations in New York and Philadelphia have dropped Beck because of ratings. Speaking of ratings, reports yesterday was that Beck’s show lost 50% of its audience over the past year. He’s also lost 100s of advertisers and has been running in England for a year without advertisers.

  23. MJ says:

Joe, you keep trying to impress with what passes for witty comments down in Texas, but as they say around here (and down there, too), that dog don’t hunt. You failed once again. Now go find your buddies RWR and the other Texas wankers to play with and leave the good folks in Delaware alone.

  24. socialistic ben says:

I dont know if anyone here is an MMR fan, but longtime DJ, and heckofaguy, Pierre Robert, (like colbert) addressed Beck, who after being kicked out of Philly went an a tirade against teh city. He played one of Beck craziest moments…. literally shrieking at someone who was disagreeing with him to get off his show (it was radio, so beck could have simply hung up, but instead decided to act like a 9 year old girl who was angry in her room) and then proceeded to talk about how childish that was and how he shouldn’t lambaste an entire city and it’s people because his show was no longer profitable in said city….
Beck is one of 2 people ive every hear Pierre say ANYTHING negative about. The other is Axl Rose.
