Same Sex Marriage is ‘Inevitable’

The other day on Good Morning America, Vice-President Joe Biden said:

“I think the country is evolving, and I think there is an inevitability for a national consensus on gay marriage.”

  1. I think he’s right. If history is any guide the change might come fairly fast. Just look at the conservative Republicans that voted on DADT repeal – they are definitely feeling the influence of the younger generation.

    As one of the DL youngish people I’d like to say I know NO ONE anti gay marriage who is my age or younger, regardless of political affiliation. Even my super conservative/catholic friends agree with me on this issue. It’s only a matter of time.

    the south/midwest will fight this hard if popular opinion in Sussex is any guide. I think this change will come, but we’re one expired conservative on the Supreme Court before that happens. i don’t see it happening legislatively for quite some time, but I hope I’m wrong.
