Smell The Freedom
The Tea Party lays out its new priorities. Apparently this means cleaning up our “decadent” culture.

Democrats, Please Use Your Power
I give some ideas of what Democrats can do in the lame duck session and discuss what I’ve learned from this year’s election.

Mike Castle has regrets
Mike Castle really needs to let it go. He stated today that he regretted not running a write in campaign, in response to a question at a forum in Wilmington, especially now in hindsight, knowing that Lisa Murkowski has appeared to have won her write in campaign in Alaska over her teabagger opponent. [...]

So elsewhere in the country:
In Colorado, Sen. Michael Bennet has won reelection over teabagger Ken Buck. This race was reminiscent of the Gary Hart’s 1980 reelection campaign. Running in the year of the “Reagan Revolution,” Hart was running against the popular Secretary of State, Mary Estill Buchanan. Hart only won by 19,000 [...]

“Republican Cannibalism”
So much for personal responsibility. Honestly, is anything ever her fault – even partly her part? The video below is an embarrassment.
Here’s the truth: The Tea Party gave the senate to the Dems. Not that they’d ever admit it. In fact, after blaming everyone else they’ll start crying that they need to be more conservative. [...]

How To Save the Delaware GOP
Having no enemy is not a good thing and not having the Delaware GOP is not a good thing for Delaware Democrats. So, how do we save the DE GOP? But, what is the problem? Their bench is a bit shallow, but really, there are some good Republican people in Delaware, so this isn’t really [...]

3Nov2010 | Rob Tornoe | 7 comments | Continued‘Bulo’s Picks: The Good…And the Veryvery Bad
All in all, a very good night for my crystal ball. Only three incorrect calls. However, of the three, two were embarrassingly off the mark. Let’s try to figure out why:
State Senate 5: I had Chris Counihan edging Cathy Cloutier, and Cathy breezed to reelection. Why? I think that she projects empathy and sincerity, and [...]
What It All Means – Nationally – Republican snakes on a plane!!
To quote Melanie over at Progressive Delmarva: “[T]he election was a Republican tidal wave nationally. Maybe it was a tsunami! Maybe it was a . . . what’s worse than a tsunami? Uh . . . it was a Republican snakes on a plane!?

Christine O’Donnell Performed Better In 2008
When you look at total vote totals, Christine O’Donnell actually got more votes in 2008. Urquhart’s claim to have done the best of Republicans “in a while” doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.

What It All Means – Locally
Going forward, the lesson the GOP should learn from this night is that the Greenville establishment actually does have the party’s best interests at heart. They are the ones that know how to win in Delaware. What the racist teabaggers failed to realize is that their bullshit does not play up here in New Castle County. You have to be a moderate, and you have to be winning to compromise and work for solutions while in Washington for you to win in New Castle County and in growing parts of Kent County. And unless you win there, you cannot win a statewide general election.

3Nov2010 | Unstable Isotope | 3 comments | ContinuedThank You 9/12 Teabagz!! Thank You Very Much!!
just look at the smoldering pile of wreckage that the DE GOP is now thanks to the dipshits who voted for Christine O’Donnell in the GOP primary.
1) The top of the ticket became a national laughing stock who went on to LOSE in 30 of 41 RD’s
2) The DE GOP came [...]
Christine O’Donnell’s Bullshit Speech Annotated
What a classless load of crap. Check this out…
I cannot thank you enough. We worked hard. We had an incredible victory. Be encouraged. We have won. The Delaware political system will never be the same. Well, you know what I mean by—my joking big brother goes: ‘We won? [...]
FLOWERS WINS.
Here is a new thread for the last two statewide nailbiters. There is one precinct left to report in both. Flower’s lead has increased since the last update, and I am calling the Treasurer’s race for him. Bonini can go back to not doing his job in the Senate. [...]

F*ck You Christine O’Donnell
Get on your broomstick, and leave this state immediately. The people of Delaware have rejected you in a shocking landslide. They saw through your lies, saw you as nothing more than a frothing idiot, and rejected you in a year that Republicans are supposed to do well in. You will [...]

DD has specific threads below. Use this one for everything else.
For instance, Rachel Maddow keeps exposing Chris Matthews’ foolish, tired punditry. Tweety is not happy with Ms. Maddow. Personally, Matthews reminds me of that crazy, old uncle that talks too loudly at Thanksgiving dinner, saying a whole lotta nothing. He should seriously consider retirement.
Have at [...]
