   Spoke to park police officer who estimated this eight times the size of the teabaz rally. What a day. Two observations. 1). Vastly larger than organizers anticipated. 2). Liberals CRUSH in the funny/sarcastic sign department.

   I’m OK. Woke up at 4 o’clock in the sculpture garden near Hirshhorn face down in vomit. Pretty sure it was mine.
   Made it back to bus and embarrassing dressing down by wife.
   It was ALL BluGalinDE’s fault. She makes EXCELLENT Bloody Marys !!!

   Our magnanimous muncher of chicken heads did a pitch perfect action in organizing, leading and successfully bringing home the brood.

    I went yesterday, too, drove from Dover. My approach to this was a bit different this time and I am pretty pleased with the resluts. I had DM’d Liberalgeek on Friday, we were hoping to meet up with you all at the Hirshorn, that didn’t happen but here’s why.

    I am not a young gal, so I have to be wise about a big day out like this. I brought a friend and we left Dover at 4:45 a.m. — we were at New Carrollton by 6:15 a.m., no traffic. We got the perfect place and the first train out of the station, no rally people in sight until we walked into the Starbucks on C Street.

    We stood in a long line to buy merchandise, then we thought we’d check out the stage. A big crowd was there already, so we staked out our place about 9:00 a.m. That’s where we needed to stay until 3:00 p.m! We were in a cordoned off area, as luck would have it, about 200 yards from the stage and to the right.

    I couldn’t believe what a nice bunch of people there were everywhere we went. It was a lot of fun! It was great show! I was hoping to see the DL people, since I follow much of the staff on twitter, it would be great to put faces with names, since the only person I know for real is Liberalgeek. There was no way to DM you, the network was totally overloaded, I couldn’t get any messages out or posts to the internet. Foursquare was hosed very early!!
