Chris Coons gave people on Twitter to ask him a question. Chris Coons is trying to suck up to my 10s of fans by answering my question:

You can see some of the other questions and answers here. This is actually a great idea. I hope he continues to do this as a Senator.

Yes, this is very cool. It does demonstrate just how retail our politics is in Delaware.

Good question, and great answer… the 1099 reporting thing is a sore point.

I think though he missed a chance to say something like: “I will be looking for a workable way to end the individual mandate.”

    and “drug price negotiation.”

(anybody remember back when we were saying “we’ll fix it later?)

But I guess there is no point in stirring up the corporate hornet nest at this point in the campaign.

The 1099 debacle has nothing to do with health care reform other than it was included in the bill just to sneak it through Congress.

It is actually an attempt by the Feds to capture capital gains taxes when precious metals, particularly gold, are bought and sold.

HCR 2010 = WMD 2002. Obomba lied while real HCR died.

Agreed. It was a revenue enhancer to meet the CBO targets.

A revenue enhancer which would not be needed if there were other cost controls like drug price negotiation.

PSB – that the Sussex County DEMOCRAT Party. 🙂

  7. Lee Brill says:

MJ – That sign must have been around since Minner’s time. She always referred to the party that way!

  8. MJ says:

Lee – it’s been around a lot longer than that. I heard it’s about 25-30 years old.
