Monday’s Asshat of the Day
Today’s awardee will probably be praised by some of the Rethuglicans who troll our website. Jimmy Carter, the 39th President thinks that he is far superior to all of the former Presidents still living. And he still carries a hard-on for Ted Kennedy after 30 years, blaming Kennedy for his loss to Reagan. [...]

When Barack Obama campaigned for Jon Corzine, New Jerseyans laughed at the president’s relative “star power” when upstart Republican Chris Christie won the election.

For all you married people without children… you don’t have a “real” marriage.
Those supporters filed their first brief on Friday. In it, they argue that marriage is inherently defined by the ability of heterosexual couples to procreate.
“The essential question in this case, then, is whether such unions [opposite-sex marriages] possess distinguishing characteristics that are relevant [...]

Castle’s Failure
Mike Castle made many mistakes in his years of service. His biggest mistake was not standing up to his own party and allowing it to demonize good ideas. One example: GOP voters in the primary cited “cap & trade” as one of their top issues.

Newt Gingrich Caught in a Lie about NCCo.
Gingrich, who is backing Republican Christine O’Donnell in the race, told those in attendance that Coons had “dramatically lowered” the county’s bond rating. But New Castle County government has held on to a triple-A bond rating for years, the highest a government agency can receive. O’Donnell, also in attendance at the conference, refused to correct Gingrich, despite her hard stance against lying.

Comment Rescue: Think 123 On Delaware Politics – Where Does O’Donnell Live?
While I won’t link to David Anderson’s House of Crazy, Think123 has been asking the same questions on every thread. Needless to say, he has received no answers. Notta one.
Do you know where O’Donnell was born, raised, went to school? Do you know where she lives currently? What year she became a Delaware resident. Do [...]
How Christine O’Donnell Can Win
It is a cold and rainy November 2nd morning. The wind is blowing. The weatherman on the radio is saying that it may actually get worse as the day goes on.
I drive to my polling place to stand out there and greet people, but I’m dreading it. When I arrive a few minutes before the [...]
O’Donnell’s “Youthful Indiscretions”
At the Candidate’s Forum at the JCC Thursday night, teabagger theocrat Christine O’Donnell used the opportunity to answer the question about her personal views on premarital sex and masturbation in a way that would sweep everything she has said prior to that night under the rug as a “youthful indiscretion.” And while a lot of what she has said that has revealed her to be an insane radical theocrat intent on turning America into the Saudi Arabia of the Western World was spoken in the mid to late 1990’s, a lot of it has been said very recently, like in 2006 and 2007. Indeed, please listen to a radio spot her campaign ran in 2006.

An Interesting Inconsistency.
O’Donnell tells the teabaggers back in April that she couldn’t go to a meeting because her sister had a life threatening pregnancy. She told the JCC on Thursday that her sister had a life threatening pregnancy a couple of years ago. Which is it?
