Does anyone have a copy of yesterday’s State News (Dover)? We heard that Jonathan Moseley wrote a letter about how mean we are here at Delaware Liberal and how we’re lying about Christine O’Donnell. Can you send us a copy if you have one? We can’t respond unless we know what Moseley is saying. Just hit the “Got a Tip” button at the top or you can email me at unstableisotope@delawareliberal.net

Moseley loves to write letters… he thinks Obama is a secret Muslim…. the old Brownshirts had an obsession with “hidden Jews”- the new ones have an obsession with “secret Muslims.”

Gone are the days when signing your letter “Esq.” automatically granted you some semblance of credibility.

Amazing how hard the truth is for some people to swallow. Keep up the good work, UI and company.

If you take a look at his website, referring to him as an abulance chaser is pretty accurate. From his website – “Moseley attended George Mason law school together with Virginia’s current Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.” So now we know where he gets his wingnut approach to the law.
And at OMB, he worked on “Total Quality Management,” which was one of the biggest wastes of money for Federal agencies in the late 1980’s.

I’ve done my best to help that along by signing nearly everything with “Esq.” as a joke…

I have a Christine O’Donnell question:
Now that she has racked up $2 million in campaign donations… what the hell will she do with it? She can’t spend that much in 5 weeks. Hell, she can probably buy WBOC for that much.
So where will the money go after the election? Is she allowed to keep it?
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 21 September 2010 at 11:32 am:
Brian,
I’m not as familiar with federal regulations as state regulations but my understanding is that she can keep it and put it into a subsequent committee (whether she wins or loses). She could also give it to the party or donate to other candidates. I just wonder if she’s using it to pay off her old campaign debts. We won’t really get a look until the next reporting period.
She might blanket the airwaves with commercials. She could buy a lot of airtime in nothern Delaware by buying into the Philly market, which is expensive.
Comment by Brian Shields on 21 September 2010 at 11:34 am:
Yeah, that 8 day report will be interesting.
Maybe if she keeps it we’ll never hear from her again if she loses.

My understanding is that donations to retire campaign debt have to be designated for that purpose, explicitly, so that any donations to her current campaign wouldn’t count.
Comment by MJ on 21 September 2010 at 12:55 pm:
Wouldn’t it be something for one of those unpaid former staffers who are owed money from her to file suit for those wages?
Comment by Delbert on 21 September 2010 at 1:20 pm:
With all that advertising money, look for Christine’s people to “strip the bark off the little bastard and make Barrack O’Bama his running mate”, as the late Lee Atwater would put it.

Signing your own name with “Esq.” just makes you look like a douche. That’s an honorific used to show respect (in the classic Delaware slip the knife in gently way) for the recipient.
