Yeah, she is insane, and we are stuck with her.

Filed in National by on September 17, 2010

Now, when O’Whackado ran against Joe Biden in 2008, she was an insignificant afterthought. No one paid any attention to her, no matter how much she screeched about Biden abandoning the state to run for Vice President. Least of all, Joe Biden. I will be very surprised if Joe Biden mentioned Christine O’Donnell’s name even once during the entire year.

But it is now clear that Christine O’Donnell believes herself to be way more important than she actually is, especially after her horrid line last night about how grateful we Delawareans should be that she was gracing us with her presence rather than accepting her numerous media invitations.

Kristin Murray, who was one of several campaign managers for O’Donnell during that race, said the candidate broached the subject of phone security in June 2008 when they were discussing cell phone plans.

“She told me that she thought Joe Biden tapped her phone line,” Murray told Politico.

You can stop laughing now. Because now she is not an insignificant afterthought anymore, and now her ego is massive. Palin-sized. So I am going to be working my ass off to make sure this insane nutbag is destroyed at ballot box. But what angers me more after that is that Palin… er ah, I mean O’Donnell will then go to Fox News and get rich off of wingnut welfare. And she will be back in 2012 against Carper.

So we Delawareans are stuck with this scum for the foreseeable future, all because some racist pieces of shit downstate couldn’t handle a black President.

Bush tapped all our phone lines.

given how we spy on Americans it is sorta plausible….

  3. Delaware Dem says:

DV, Joe Biden was not Vice President in 2008. Cheney was.

Christine’s 2008 myspace. Get it while it still exists.

Citizen surveillance unfortunately seems to keep expanding no matter who is in charge.

  7. BellefonteRoss says:

Maybe that’s why she doesn’t have a phone anymore heh

  8. Campaign staffers are dishing on O’Donnell now:

The tea party giant-killer who knocked off Rep. Mike Castle Tuesday is barely recognizable to them. They remember a candidate who was less interested in conservative causes than scoring a television deal, one who suggested dodging campaign vendors, believed she could give the keynote speech at the Republican National Convention and fixated on a harebrained idea to distribute tens of thousands of two-ounce suntan lotion packets to voters.

I guess that explains the huge campaign expense for sunscreen.

    Ha.

As the campaign entered the summer season, staff was instructed to compile a 10-page document examining how the distribution of tens of thousands of two-ounce suntan lotion packets could shake up the race, according to several members of O’Donnell’s 2008 team.

O’Donnell’s idea: To affix a clever slogan to packets that read: “Don’t Get Burned By Higher Taxes. Vote Christine O’Donnell 2008” and distribute them at local parades.

“She wanted 100,000 of them,” said Moore, who describes himself as “a strong conservative.”

When aides told O’Donnell it was a bad idea and that the cash-poor campaign should conserve its resources for more practical items like signs and bumper stickers, Moore recalled, “She didn’t take too kindly to that.”

“It was an irresponsible idea,” said David Keegan, who served as O’Donnell’s financial officer. “And half the people in the street thought she was throwing condoms out of the truck.”

  9. TNJ “Positively Palinesque”

It’s an article about how O’Donnell is trying to look like Sarah Palin.

  10. Sadly accurate:

So I am going to be working my ass off to make sure this insane nutbag is destroyed at ballot box. But what angers me more after that is that Palin… er ah, I mean O’Donnell will then go to Fox News and get rich off of wingnut welfare. And she will be back in 2012 against Carper.

Given the drubbing Palin’s ticket received in 2008, one might have expected her to fade away and stop being part of the picture, but apparently we missed the existence of a “double-tap” rule (cf. Zombieland if you don’t get this). Killing them once at the ballot box doesn’t cut it. You have to beat them again and again and again because they just keep coming back. It’s pretty stunning. Oh well.

(And for the rightists, I’m pretty clearly not actually advocating killing anyone, so save your breath and don’t cite this comment as an example of the left endorsing the same eliminationist tactics y’all embrace.)

  11. A. Price says:

no delacrat yet to tell us how Obama taps our phone lines while sending Drones to kill innocent Hamas members in Kansas?
    hope it is ok.

  12. heragain says:

One step at a time. First we make sure she isn’t elected. She may want to go to Fox, but she’d be smarter trying to get Priscilla Rakestraw’s job first.

    Just sayin’. 😉

  13. fightingbluehen says:

I told you that the extremes of both parties move and benefit from the ridiculous swinging of the political pendulum that has been going on as of late. Now my party is stuck with a career nutter, and she is running against the “Bearded Marxist “. I really have no choice but to look into the Libertarian candidate at this point.

  14. Jason330 says:

Just don’t vote for O’Donnel and everyone wins.

  15. Sorry, FBH but saying that a sarcastic title of a college essay is insane like Christine O’Donnells 20 years of saying absolutely insane things is a false dichotomy.

Chris Coons went to college, served in the Peace Corps, worked in private industry and then served in government. He’s not a loon.

What has O’Donnell done? Gone on TV and said wacky things and makes her living as a perpetual candidate. It’s insulting to say they are anything alike.

  16. Jason330 says:

Well the problem is, unlike O’Donnell, Coons never ran a highly successful campaign to eradicate masturbation.

  17. Truth Teller says:

What is it with this woman always has her mouth wide open sort of reminds me of Page Evens every time they took a picture of her there she was a wide gape.

  18. anon says:

A lot of people have seen O’Donnell’s true colors.

Hey Truth Teller, don’t forget the head tilt also, but what the hell does my sister have to with this ? She is a staunch liberal just like you guys.

  21. Whybother says:

Obama does tap our phone lines and kill innocent people with drones. Anyone who’s not a partisan cheerleader can tell you that.

  22. skippertee says:

Just try and imagine Christine O’Donnell,Sharron Angle and Rand Paul being elected to the U.S.Senate.
They would make the THREE STOOGES look like a main-line Philadelphia law firm.

  23. Peace Pansy says:

@ Phil who posted the InfoWars article link; I was surprised, at first, that someone on InfoWars would be against a non-two-party-type candidate. They were anti-Clinton, anti-Bush/Cheney and are anti-Obama (anarchy, anyone?) but after reading it, I see that it makes sense, they always have been anti-war. However, that said, they are right behind the Paul family, going back to Dr. Paul’s first run for President back in the 90’s. (maybe before)

I have found this site interesting, especially during the post September 11, 2001 coop.

@ skipper tee – you should add Michelle Bachman to that list, but that messes up your cute number of three.
