Tornoe’s Toon: Christine O’Donnelled Out

Obviously as a cartoonist, any crazy is good crazy. So Christine O’Donnell, Delaware’s own little Sarah Palin, is like finding a pot of gold.

However, there is a part of me that is saddened that such an unqualified, inexperienced masturbation-hating nutjob has an outside shot to beat out a Republican incumbent who is likely to win Delaware’s open Senate seat and flip a blue state to red.

This coming week should be fun, with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of advertising being flow in from out-of-state Tea Party groups to prop up their conservative wingnut. Wonder if they’ll air drop the lady in red who questioned Obama’s citizenship at a Castle town hall meeting last year.

Let’s guess who she’s supporting in the primary.

    Excellent cartoon, and message!

  2. Jason330 says:

Tbagz never reckoned on O’Donnell being such a leaky balloon

  3. Brian Shields says:

Interesting, I went to that YouTube clip.. and there was an Anti-O’Donnell campaign ad paid for by Castle.

So, of course I have a screen shot. http://twitpic.com/2mfh1s

  4. Geezer says:

I still think that video clip is the perfect illustration of why Democrats must abandon Castle. If he couldn’t stand up to Crazy Eileen, how is he going to stand up to the Koch brothers?

  5. Joe Cass says:

Weak tea indeed; I just listened to Alan Loudell’s interview with the stalked one. Eewww.

  6. Don says:

    Hi Rob,

I like Mike Castle as a person, but he is the king of the Rino’s – voting 60% with our esteemed out of control spending administration and unwanted legislation. Chris Coons might as well not run because Mike Castle is more of a Democrat than Arlene Spector. I cannot and will not support his re-election. Christine O’Donnell has all the right stances in the important issues. Sorry masturbation is not a priority issue for me Rob 🙂 .All you liberals should support Mike Castle – he is voting YOUR party line -in any case the tsunami is coming in November — we need conservatives to save our economy — Go ahead and let the tax cuts expire at the end of the year, that will GUARANTEE that our economy come to a complete standstill instead of an anemic 1.5% or so growth rate, and President Obama will have a permanent vacation January 20th, 2013. Don

  7. Mike Castle votes with Republicans 90% of the time. I will never vote for him. You guys keep him.

  8. Yogie says:

I will be voting for Chris Coons, but Mike Castle does not vote with Republicans “90%” of the time. It is actually between 55% and 70% depending on the year. No need to fudge the truth.

  9. Jerry says:

From the Washington Post: “Mike Castle has voted with a majority of his Republican colleagues 87.3% of the time during the current Congress. This percentage does not include votes in which Castle did not vote.” http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/members/c000243/

    Enough said.

  10. anonone says:

Why does the guy have tampons hanging from his hat?

  11. Joe Cass says:

A tsunami, Don? Thucydides was a lib.

  12. anon says:

Go ahead and let the tax cuts expire at the end of the year, that will GUARANTEE that our economy come to a complete standstill

Yes, because they worked so well for ten years – let’s do the same thing again!

You do realize Obama has already signed $288 billion in tax cuts, which Republicans voted against, and is proposing even more, which Republicans have already announced they are voting against.

  13. fatladysings says:

Newsmax the righty website: “Ed Gillespie says O’Donnel can beat Castle”, just like they got rid of Murkowski in Alaska!

  14. Von Cracker says:

Thanks Don for telling us what to do. It IS what you conservatives do best – not acting but telling. You big daddy you!

Castle not conservative? Sheeeeeeiiit! Maybe not to today’s selfish phobes, but compared to his brethren from yesteryear, he’s solidly to the right of Nixon. The goalposts haven’t moved; y’all did.

    Bet
