Christine O’Donnell: Starbursts For Everyone

Filed in National by on July 28, 2010

The server I was working on this afternoon went belly up which gave me an opportunity to listen to WDEL’s Rick Jensen interview US Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell. Here are the highlights:

  • If you are a woman that’s been raped or a victim of incest (that’s rape too, right?), Christine O’Donnell would require you to have the baby. I’d really like someone to ask her what she thinks about birth control. Should married couples be able to use it? Should single people be able to buy it?
  • It seems that perennial candidate is more interested in the constitutionality of bills than, let’s say, legislating. IMHO, I think O’Donnell would rather be a federal court judge rather than a senator. Either way, she’s not qualified.
  • O’Donnell complained about “Washington Elites” though she recently was awarded a fellowship in constitutional government. That doesn’t sound too elitist does it?
  • The Tea Party candidate has no plan for health care, none whatsoever. Actually, was she wants is for people to be able to shop across state lines. What she doesn’t realize is that many of of health insurance companies have brands in many states, so that if you think you are buying something different, you probably aren’t.
  • Christine O’Donnell wants you on the bread lines with her as she would have voted against Bush bank bailouts. Hey, I understand, if you subsist on other people’s handouts, you probably think it is a good idea for everyone else.
  • All of her campaign debt is the Delaware GOP’s fault, so say the Starbust lady.

I don’t think I could do that again.

Christine will be on Fox Business Channel tonight at 7. Check your cable provider to see if you carry this station.

  2. jason330 says:

I sometimes wonder if Jensen is really stupid, or if he knows what side his bread is buttered on and so acts the conservative fool to delight his idiot listeners.

Then I listen for two minutes and I realize he really is that stupid.

  3. Joe Cass says:

How is it every dumbass Tbagger has suddenly become an expert on our constitution? And whats worse, they’re extremely selective and incredibly interpretive of which part suits them

  4. jason330 says:

“And whats worse, they they’re extremely selective and incredibly interpretive) of which part suits them.”

    Just like the Bible.

  5. anonone says:

    Christine’s Virginity 2008 = Christine’s Virginity 2010?

  6. jason330 says:

I can’t do it. I can’t watch. I turned on Fox Business to see if I had that channel and after 22 seconds I had to turn it off. Somebody will youtube it.

  7. jason330 says:

  9. No Tellin' says:

Starbursts? That’s such an insult to the candy.

  10. jason330 says:

Christine helped herself. So Fox news thinks Castle is a RINO? If Fox says it, it must be true.

= every incarnation of the Right Wing. No matter what they are calling themselves. This time they have just given us the convenient slur of calling them Tbagz. thank you tbagz.

  12. a.price says:

    alright, Senator Coons

  13. anon says:

Everyone knows there are different kinds of virginity. You’ve got your o-card, your v-card, your a-card, your f-card, your b-card … did I miss any orifices or stimulatory locations?

  14. I’m afraid to ask what all those cards are.

  15. Geezer says:

She’s never said she’s a virgin. She has said she is chaste, which means she might have done it once, but she doesn’t intend to do it again. And her intertubes calling card for many years — the first thing that popped up (pun intended) when you googled her — was her screed about the evils of masturbation.

The jokes do write themselves, but I can’t help myself — she has to run for office every two years, because the voting booth is the only place she’s willing to push her own button.

  16. anonone says:

    LOL, Geezer!

I remember with DownWIthAbsolutes was one of her biggest hits on Google. Those were the days.

    Chaste 2010 = Chaste 2008?

  17. jason330 says:

I guess I am Amish. I can’t imagine what some of those cards refer to.

  18. jpconnorjr says:

What about that blast from the past Chaste 2006???? She’s too old to be the 40 year old virgin but maybe it’s not too late for the “Immaculate Orgasm”. She must have had one after she “had her way” with Jensen:)

  19. YHGTBSM says:

Some R’s may get chubbys over O’Donnell unlike Liberals who get chubbys over other peoples money.

The constitution? Pick and Choose? Where is the word abortion?

O’Donnell is scary but you guys are the last people to point out faults on anyone else, Obama had discredited your cause too badly.
I think you should ask O’Donnell’s past GOP opponents to endorse her and see where they stand.

  20. Liberals who get chubbys over other peoples money.

    First of all, classy.

Conservatives sure like stealing from the middle class to give tax cuts to the rich and really loved borrowing money from China to finance war. Sorry, no Republican is allowed to talk about fiscal issues until they get a huge dose of realism.

  21. its all a comedy! says:

The teabaggers want everyone to believe illegal aliens have no rights. Please do a google: rights of illegals and get the facts! Teabaggers keep talking about the Consitution while they have no clue whats in it. Article 6, Clause 2, 14th amendment lays out those rights. ACLU does as well. Sick and tired of the right wing attack on illegals, claiming they have no rights.

  22. Geezer says:

“Obama had discredited your cause too badly.”

Obama can’t discredit progressivism, because he hasn’t done anything truly progressive.
