Last night the Christina School District elected their new school board president, John Young. John is a friend of DelawareLiberal and has been a tireless advocate for transparency in the Christina School District over at his aptly named, Transparent Christina.
Congratulations, John.

Thanks LG, I am but one vote on my board but certainly hope to carry the torch for open schools and open government in my role.

Congratulations John. This is a reminder that elections matter. In May Christina had an election, and transparency-advocate Eric Anderson beat long-term board member George Evans. Without that vote, this week’s election of John would have been highly unlikely. Good job, CSD voters!
