Kowalko Addresses Toxic Chemical Reform

Filed in National by on July 31, 2010 6 Comments

If you didn’t get a chance to read the Jeff Montgomery articles on tainted groundwater, put down that glass of water and read it now.  Seriously, put down the water.  You come away from that series feeling like a passenger that has no knowledge of boats, but just found out that your ship is sinking […]

No one is safe. [Land Sharks]

No one is safe. [Land Sharks]

This is clearly an invasion. The sharks seek nothing less than total domination of both the oceans and the land. We must stop them. Therefore, President Obama has called on all teabaggers to gather at the nearest port and take to the sea to defeat these ancient enemies on their ground so that we don’t have to fight them here.

The Weekly Addresses

Filed in National by on July 31, 2010 4 Comments

President Obama touts the success of the auto bailout (yes, it did work, GM has repaid its loan) and continues after the horrid nest of snakes that comprises the modern day Republican Party for their obstruction. Filed in National by on July 31, 2010 5 Comments

The Taraz Ten

Filed in National by on July 30, 2010 11 Comments

I wanted to pass along and highlight a horrible story concerning a friend of mine that was featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday. Jeremy Meyer and his wife Becky Compton are one of eight families who have spent the better part of the last year held hostage in Taraz, Kazakhstan while waiting to adopt their children. Indeed, Becky is still there.

Let The Eat Want Ads — that is what Greg Sargent has named the GOPers who cluelessly think that the reason why people are unemployed is because they get unemployment benefits.

Coons/Castle Civility Gives David Broder a Bi-partisan Boehner

Don’t you often find yourself thinking, “Life sure would be great if I could all pretend Ronald Reagan and George Bush never got into office and screwed the country sideways”

If you could convince yourself of that, you’d be David Broder.
