Another Tale Of GOP Minority Outreach

Filed in National by on June 14, 2010

Welcome to the North American DMZ:

The Republican nominee for a New Mexico congressional seat suggested during a radio interview that the United States could place land mines along the Mexican border to secure the international boundary.

Asked Monday to clarify, Tom Mullins emphasized that he does not advocate doing so.

Mullins says border security came up during a radio interview last month, when he was campaigning for the GOP nod to run against Rep. Ben Ray Lujan, D-N.M.

What could possibly go wrong with this plan?

That’s ridiculous! The highly paid coyotes smuggling the aliens across the empty desert would just purchase metal detectors to defeat this simpleton’s stategy.
What WOULD work would be to place some of our more highly radio-active nuclear waste all along the border. It should emit sufficient roetigens to kill those in close proximity[50′] within an hour.Warning signs in Spanish,Farsi and esperanto should be posted.
This solves two pressing problems at once.
I am now patiently waiting for a call from the Republicans tasked to come up with a new “AGENDA for AMERICA”.

Roentgens, Skip. Roentgens. Too many Americans were not trained in duck and cover. I bet today’s school desks wouldn’t stand up to a simple 10-megaton blast, either. Why, when I was a kid we had to walk uphill to school with our lead anti-radiation suits on. At least, it felt uphill.

BTW, don’t go looking for land mines with your metal detector, either.

Have Joran van der Sloot patrol the border.

NOW do you understand why I’d be perfect for the Republicans,Geezer?
