Delude Baby Delude

Republicans have no shame when it comes to their blind loyalty to big oil. Bill Kristol — seriously, this guy makes a living out of being a douche, said,”[off shore oil drilling] very environmentally clean, except when there is a disaster like the spill.” Limbaugh thinks it is an eco plot to stop drilling and the half-term governor said that “accidents happen”.

On the subject of delusion, this is not Obama’s Katrina as this timeline shows. Keep on dreaming trolls.

Those crafty Eco terrorists will stop at nothing.

Where are all of the religious folks who are willing to blame everything on the wrath of God? I’m pretty sure the almighty will be quite pissed off we are hurting his creation and will punish us soon. Oh, wait, we only get punished for gay pride parades, not for killing thousands of innocent sea animals.

  3. Even Fox’s Britt Hume was saying that perhaps environmentalists had a point. This is the worst-case scenario and from what I was hearing this morning there will be at least 6 more days before BP can hope to contain it.

  4. Speaking of deluded:

“The ocean will take care of this on its own if it was left alone and left out there. It’s natural. It’s as natural as the ocean water is.”

    — Rush Limbaugh, quoted by the St. Petersburg Times, arguing that a cleanup of the oil spill off the Lousiana coast is unnecessary.

looks like we’ve seen the right’s response plan…
“Don’t WORRY about it. all is well. Nothing to see here. By all means, DON’T blame BP, they give us lots of money!” Hey Sarah, hows that Drill Baby Brill thing workin’ out for ya?

  6. bamboozer says:

Didn’t get much mileage out of “Obamas Katrina!” did they? As for Bill Kristol his claim to fame is never, ever getting anything right with Palin as his shining example.

This is the result of Bush/Cheney deregulating the oil companies permitting them to drill deep into the ocean floor without safety valves that cost $500,000! This will be the worst environmental disaster of all time, as more than 200,000 gallons of oil are spewing out every day…over one million gallons a week. Problem is the rig fell on top of the connections. Environmental scientists say the technology to remove the rig and close the valve doesnt exist and could take months just to remove the rig. What BP and Halliburton didnt count on was when they tapped 30,000 ft into the earth crust the powerful explosion blew up the valves and the rig. Scientists say this oil spill will wrap itself around the east coast, enter oceans currents and delivered eventually around the world. They claim there is no greater disaster facing humanity today, than what will be the results of these greedy bastard corporations who put profit over people, profit over the environment. Every one of the oil rigs off the coast of the US do not have the safety equipment demanded by europe and other countries. If you listen to corporate media you are being lied too…its much worse than they are telling us.
