The Secret Plan Is Working!

Filed in National by on April 29, 2010

Alan Colmes interviewed former Republican Congressman (and presidential candidate) Tom Tancredo. Not long ago, Tancredo made some remarks about sending Obama “back to Kenya.” Colmes asked about the birther issue and Obama’s super-secret plan was revealed:

Tancredo then claimed that Obama is purposefully withholding his birth certificate in order to fuel birther conspiracies that make the right wing look nuts:

TANCREDO: Now they very well not want to show it because they want to propagate this whole thing that’s going on about birthers. … They may be doing it for that reason; I don’t know why they don’t want anyone to see it. … They want it propagated because you know –

COLMES: It makes your party look nuts!

TANCREDO: Yeah well maybe that’s why they don’t produce document, I don’t know.

Mission accomplished!

Ah, so it’s a conspiracy after all. Tom T–when is he going to become to the media what he is: a has been?

  2. a.price says:

you mean a “never was” He is a joke. just like _______ (insert conservative name here)

  3. MJ says:

Don’t forget to come to “Obama Birth Certificate/Eligibility/Obamacare March on Washington” on May 29th being pimped by Der Fuhrer Glenn Beck.

If you need a good laugh today, here’s a link to the website – http://obamacrimes.com/

  4. I think he got the idea from me. I wrote long time ago that the birth certificate is a rope a dope distraction. They drag their feet to get people to spend their energy in a meaningless direction then they spin it as if people were crazy all along to ask a legitimate question.

  5. RD,

It’s a non-issue that won’t die because the birthers are crazy and can’t accept the proof that has been given. There has been no hiding of any birth certificates, it’s been out in the open since 2007. The birthers are going crazy because they are crazy. Crazy and racist.

  6. a.price says:

s’matter RD? Cant admit your cause is populated by ignorant cowards who still fear solar eclipses? How about you own the problem and work to correct the misconception so you can get down to important business. naww… that might require admitting Obama is “a real american” and that would get you kicked out of the Conservative club.

  7. Geezer says:

They’ll never kick him out of the conservative club. They need every black face they can find so they can keep up the claim that they like black people just fine.

  8. mynym says:

Cant admit your cause is populated by ignorant cowards who still fear solar eclipses?

That’s ironic, as usual. Studies indicate that it’s actually the “sinister” Left that shows that tendency:
Fourteen percent of Republicans say they believe in astrology, while 31 percent of Democrats do.link

That isn’t surprising given that monotheism is associated with the Right and nature based paganism with the Left. Unfortunately America may be tending away from its foundation and toward modern superstitions typical to the Left in general. This is why Al Gore might as well be a corpulent bishop roaming the country side selling indulgences for “sins” against his Mother Nature.

  9. cassandra m says:

What IS ironic is that the anonymous ignorant coward mynym would show up to provide objective proof of a. price’s claim.

  10. anon says:

If you can trick him into saying his name backward he will disapp… oh wait.

  11. MJ says:

mynym needs to learn the difference between astrology and astronomy. Then again, he/she probably thinks the Earth is flat and that you can’t sail to far from shore without falling off of the planet. Oh, and that moon landing – it was all a Hollywood production.

Comment by Republican David:” I think he got the idea from me. I wrote long time ago that the birth certificate is a rope a dope distraction. They drag their feet to get people to spend their energy in a meaningless direction then they spin it as if people were crazy all along to ask a legitimate question.”

David are you completely nuts? Why would you admit to believing this crazy notion? Seriously people are making fun of Tancredo exposing himself for a fool, and you jump up and claim credit for his crazy conspiracy theory. Ignoring the obvious problem with your and Tancredo’s theory i.e. If there was any chance Obama had not been born in the US, Hillary would have made sure he was disqualified before the Iowa caucus. Hillary’s Iowa campaign targeted all candidates with an under ground whisper campaign, with Obama being the biggest target. The underground attacks against Obama included the subjective opinion that the country isn’t ready to elect a black man for President, as well as the false claim that Obama’s a Muslim, is unpatriotic, refuses to place his hand over his heart during the pledge of allegiance (when the picture used to prove it was during the national anthem), is lying about being against the Iraq war, Wm Ayers, etc. However not once before the Iowa caucus did Hillary’s campaign, or even a supporter claim Obama wasn’t born in the US. If there had been the slightest possibility that Obama had not been born in Hawaii there is absolutely no way Mark Penn would not have made sure every Iowan knew this.

In addition to the obvious problems with the theory, it also fails because Obama did address the issue, although he never should have had to. In June 2008 he made the copy of his birth certificate he received from Hawaii public on his website. Obama has never had his original birth certificate, because states retain the original birth certificate, try getting your original birth certificate from the state you were born, you can’t get it, you can get a certified copy, but not the original. There was no dragging of their feet, as Jon Stewart said facts don’t matter, officials in Hawaii could personally show a birther the original birth certificate, and they wouldn’t believe it was true, they would claim it was a forgery. Furthermore Obama can’t force these idiots to waste their time and energy on asking to see proof, these idiots voluntarily have wasted their own time. And the only reason they look stupid (beside the fact that they are) pressing the issue is because after Obama released a copy of his birth certificate in June 2008, by August 2008 Factcheck.org and other reporters went to the governmental offices in Hawaii where these records are kept, and personally saw (and touched) Obama’s original Hawaii birth certificate, and verified its authenticity. However, since August of 2008 when it was conclusively proven by outside independent news organizations that Obama was born in Hawaii the birther movement didn’t die, it grew. So no your theory doesn’t have a grain of truth, and further reflects just how far gone you are, you have my sympathy.

The birthers, should be an embarrassing fringe of the GOP, but anyone who saw Jon Stewart’s full-unedited interview of former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell knows the GOP is full of nuts who have no grasp with reality!
