Castle Fundraising Fails to Meet Expectations
$826,000 is a good haul, out of context. But it fails to meet Castle’s own expectations, and when you consider that Castle had over a one month head start over Coons, the context becomes clear. This is a competitive money race.

Ranging from details on the financial extractions by the House Committees from Progressives, to the role they played in trying to keep the Public Option open to some of their own internal fractiousness, this article paints a pretty tough picture of the politics of being in the Progressive Caucus.
Rollins Mixes Business with Politics
So new GOP Congressional candidate Michele Rollins sent out an e-mail to her list (below) with a phone number to her campaign. But when you call that number, you get the answering machine machine message for “Rollins Jamaica.” You see, Michele Rollins is chairman of Rollins Jamaica, a 7,000-acre complex of luxury hotels, residences and golf courses near Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is in addition to her serving on the board of directors of Wilmington Trust Company, which of course allowed her to take outrageous bonuses at the tax payer’s expense.
