  1. Castle wants you to click this link. He tweeted it to all his followers.

I can’t wait to see if Castle takes up the “repeal the bill” mantle like other Republicans or will he admit it’s a pretty good bill that he just didn’t vote for.

  2. anonone says:

“Any plan I sign must include an insurance exchange, including a public option”

    President Obomba, July 2009.

Well, where is it? Maybe it is under his desk.

  3. cassandra_m says:

I should start following Castle on Twitter. I want to ask him why he thinks these excuses are an adequate fig leaf for just doing what the Orange Man told him to.

  4. anonone says:

    He’s late…maybe he’s having a cigarette out back.

  5. MJ says:

The one feed not blocked by my agency is whitehouse.gov. Yippee!!!!

  6. bamboozer says:

Castle ultimately do whats right for Castle, when the bill gains in popularity he will discover a new found appreciation for it and attempt to take credit for it like the stimulus bill. He’s a hack, and not a good one either.

  7. cassandra_m says:

    Fired Up, Ready to Go!

    Awesome.

  8. cassandra_m says:

VP Biden is very happy indeed….

  9. Amazing – it’s a picture of the GOP pre-signing press conference.

    Waterloo.

  10. delacrat says:

VP Biden should be happy. He’s covered by single payer TRICARE …today. Not some high deductible, co-pay riddled, private plan … 4 years from now.

  11. cassandra_m says:

Marcellus Owens also in the room and who loked like he got a standing O. Great kid and repubs beat up on him pretty bad too.

  12. anonone says:

I am waiting for him to say that he is signing it for the insurance companies who are going to extract hundreds of billions of dollars from the American people because of this bill.

  13. MJ says:

Delacrat – Joe is not covered by TRICARE – he is not in the military and is is not retired military. He is covered by the Federal Employees Heatlth Benefits Program (FEHBP – http://www.opm.gov/insure/health). Depending on the plan he has selected (based on his residency in Delaware) he will have deductables, co-pays, etc.

Teddy Kennedy is smiling down on all of us today!

  14. anonone says:

Thanks for streaming that, cm. And nice link, U.I.

  15. Jason330 says:

I have not seen this many happy faces in the White House since wedecided to bomb the fuck out of Iraq for no good reason.

  16. anonone says:

They forgot the “Mission Accomplished” banner, though.

  17. delacrat says:

    MJ,

Well, I stand corrected, Biden is happily covered by another Gov’t single payer plan …. today.

Not some POS high deductible private plan …. 4 years from now.

  18. FEHBP is not like single payer, it’s the exchanges. I don’t know what specific plan Biden is covered under but as VP I’m sure his healthcare is covered by the nation.

  19. BTW, on Twitter Mike Castle was pushing some bill about selling insurance across state lines.

  20. Biden was caught on mic:

“This is a big fucking deal.”

    — Vice President Joe Biden, congratulating President Obama at the health care reform signing ceremony

  21. cassandra_m says:

    Love that!

And apparently Gibbs twittered out “Yes, Mr. Vice President, you’re right….”

Quick — who will be first in the manufactured outrage parade on this?

  22. Video of Biden’s f-bomb:

  23. MJ says:

There are over 200 health plans in the FEHBP covering all 50 states, PR, Guam, and Federal employees stationed overseas, and their eligible dependents. Depending on where you live, you can choose between 5-10 plans within your state of from one of the 14 national plans. Since Biden is President of the Senate, he is considered a Federal employee (as are all members of Congress) and he is covered under FEHBP, not the health care that the President receives at Bethesda Navy Hospital.

Delacrat – maybe if you did a little research before spouting off, you’d save us all a lot of trouble correcting your mistakes.

  24. Jason330 says:

Even beyond the reform and the big political win, what I like about all of this is how it utterly exposed the GOP for the angry, racists dumbfucks that they are.

  25. anon says:

    Biden is in good company.

  26. Von Cracker says:

To FuksNews, the only thing that happened today of importance was Biden’s F-bomb.

    He must admire Chase Utley.

  27. Von Cracker says:

lol – anon beat me to it.

  28. delacrat says:

Why didn’t Biden deign to make his healthcare plan available to the rest of us?

  29. MJ says:

Actually, there was a plan on the table early on (last year) to open FEHBP to those who were uninsured, with them paying 100% of the premiums. This was deleted when the bill was being marked up.

  30. Scott P says:

Why didn’t Biden deign to make his healthcare plan available to the rest of us?

On a related note, though, remember that members of Congress will only be offered plans from the exchanges.

  31. P.Schwartz says:

13 STATES FILE LAWSUIT AGAINST HEALTH CARE BILL
    Associated Press ^ | March 23, 2010

Attorneys general from 13 states sued the federal government Tuesday, claiming the landmark health care overhaul bill is unconstitutional just seven minutes after President Barack Obama signed it into law.

The lawsuit was filed in Pensacola after the Democratic president signed the bill the House passed Sunday night.

(today is the aniversary of Paine’s “Give me liberty, or give me death” speach.)

  32. P.Schwartz says:

    potty mouth Biden? BFD.

  33. just kiddin' says:

Guess Biden’s been hanging around Rahm too much.

  34. Yeah, it isn’t like Biden wasn’t a pathetic joke on the American people prior to today. Indeed, I consider him Obama’s most brilliant political move — how could anyone who loves America possibly want to see Biden succeed to the Oval Office?

  35. anonone says:

Or he was hanging around Cheney too much.

  36. Geezer says:

Indeed, nobody here gives a flying fuck at a rolling donut what you consider anything. But don’t let that stop you.

  37. Jason330 says:

That shirt is great. I (heart) capitalism.
