Trouble In Paradise?
Remember all that talk about a Palin/Beck ticket? Glenn Beck says it isn’t going to happen and he has really good reasons why it won’t happen:
But just a few hours later on his radio show, Beck shot down the idea, saying he was “absolutely” ruling out a Palin-Beck ticket. He explained that if he had the number two job, Palin would always be “yapping” like they were in “the kitchen”:
BECK: I don’t think things are hoots. I don’t. I don’t think it’s a hoot. I would never use the word hoot, and I respectfully ask that every time my name is brought up she would stop using the word “hoot.” [...]
No, no I’m just saying — Beck-Palin, I’ll consider. But Palin-Beck — can you imagine, can you imagine what an administration with the two of us would be like? What? Come on! She’d be yapping or something, and I’d say, “I’m sorry, why am I hearing your voice? I’m not in the kitchen.”
And Beck was one of the ones complaining about the sexist treatment of Sarah Palin in the media. I guess what he meant was that the media wasn’t sexist enough so he thought he’d show them how it was done. Will Palin turn on Beck now or will she let this go? I’m sure Beck will pull out his “I’m a clown” excuse. If Beck and Palin feud it could be a test of who is more popular with the Republican base – Palin or Beck.
Sarah, this is what your allies really think of you. They’re using you to excite the base and they’re really comfortable with that as long as you’re in the #2 position. They certainly don’t want you taking that role from a white guy.

We sure do. It was all in liberal idiot fantasy world from liberal idiots like yourself.
Keep dreaming this is where the GOP is headed. I’m sure it takes your mind off of your tanking messiah and his 49% and falling fast approval rating.

Now that’s funny — both that new bit of BeckIdiocy and this new anon defending the Palin Messiah.
Comment by Tom S on 27 November 2009 at 9:47 am:
Biggest concern from the democrats would have been having enough reporters to make up the dirt, but there are ACORN people available now so it should be ok. Plus the 11 reporters the AP assigned to check Palin’s book are probably finished.

Wrong . !
It was Fox & Friends who were pushing Palin/Beck:
Palin didn’t shoot it down in an interview with Newsmax:
The Palin/Beck trial balloon came from the rightwing media, and Palin herself. Will . admit that they were talking out of their ass?

I notice our trolls are not addressing the point at all. That’s because they can’t.
Comment by Tom S on 27 November 2009 at 9:51 am:
haha…keep dreaming
Comment by Tom S on 27 November 2009 at 9:55 am:
I guess Beck/Palin is no more ridiculous than Obama/Biden…You’re right anon! The country has flipped.
Comment by cassandra_m on 27 November 2009 at 10:04 am:
Even the usual trolls are embarrassed by Palin and Beck and doubly embarrassed by them together. It is hard to talk about something that is so fundamentally embarrassing.

I like “very very very effective.” Now we have a benchmark for Palin’s notion of “effective.”
Comment by JTF on 27 November 2009 at 8:44 pm:
Honestly, I don’t know who would be worse, Beck or Palin. Like, if we HAD to choose a President, from the two of then… I’d have a hard time choosing. They’re both so awful.

@JTF “Honestly, I don’t know who would be worse, Beck or Palin.”
When given a choice between ineptitude and evil, always go with ineptitude.
Comment by Brooke on 28 November 2009 at 10:54 am:
They’re both evil, LE.
