This is good news — if anything because this shakes up some of the status quo. Lobbyists are screaming that somehow these boards are losing real expertise, when the expertise that is being lost is the paid POV of whatever business interest is being shown the curb. I can’t think of a single topic whose only expertise would be held by a lobbyist. Anyone interested in any of these advisory board topics ought to get their research and resumes done and get to work.
