Please, Mike, do list all the Democrats who amended Republican bills with the GOP's support during the Bush administration.

I don't have the energy to deal with this nonsense, other than to say, "wrong again." But it's nice to know that you support such behavior.

Get real, no GOP amendments are allowed on any health bill so why should there be any overtures on any other matter?

For liberals and Dems bi partisan means do what we say or else.

As always the Senate and the House have super majorities and they can't move a bill through so it must be either Bush's fault or the GOP's fault.

Bad policy is bad policy, look in the mirror and quit blaming everyone else. Why do you think Warren Buffet bought a railroad who makes millions transporting guess what? Coal.

Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) chastised his fellow Republicans Wednesday for refusing to deal with climate change and said they needed to see green legislation as something that could help business.

"I am no scientist, but I've ... seen the effects of a warming planet," he said in a press conference. "The green economy is coming. We can either follow or lead. And those countries who follow will pay a price. Those nations who lead in creating the new green economy for the world will make money."

"If you can't participate in solving a hard problem, why are you up here?" he asked.

I guess they would rather pollute, deny and support the coal industry than grow a brain and make money on something new and profitable for busniess and good for America.

Hey, just think of it this way -- they are emulating the ultimate in government stereotypes. The one where people think that government workers are paid too much and do too little work. For these repubs, they are delighted to work at their no show jobs on live TV.

Democrats should just get a robust climate change bill up and voted out by the committee members who show up.
