This comment by Rebecca makes me think how different Markell is from Tom Carper and the fakey economic development through usury that he, Castle and Pete Dupont wrought.

At the townhall meeting I attended, it was obvious that the Governor was absolutely lazer-focused on bringing good, make-something, add value to the economy jobs to Delaware.

hmmm it says he asked, it doesn’t say they agreed.

according to Motors Liquidation website, the equipemnt is for sale, they are in the process of hiring an auctioner. (soon to be update, I am sure)

Motors Liquidation Co is “Bad GM” with 129 facilities (and the contained equipment) to sell.

Still, this is good news for Delaware and the greatr bunch of guys and gals who used to work at the plant.

Speaking of which, no small part of this credit also goes to the UAW, whose members maintained such high quality when this was a GM plant. Their reputation for hard work and high skills was part of the equation.

Huzzah for Jack and all his team.
