Socialists Stealing Paychecks!

Filed in National by on October 21, 2009

Kenneth Feinberg of the Treasury Department has been watching the sycophant banks and trading companies very closely and he’s a little pissed that many of decided to give themselves bonuses, pay increases and other perks. Not anymore, reports The New York Times.

. . . The seven companies that received the most assistance will have to cut the annual salaries of their 25 best-paid executives by an average of about 90 percent from last year.

About freaking time.

It gets better as Comrade Feinberg will make these capitalist pigs come crawling to him if they want country club memberships, private plans, car service, etc.

About freaking time.

The Socialists are no longer at the gates! We are at your kitchen table, we are in your paychecks, we are your worst unrealistic narcissistic nightmare! Start the water works Glenn Beck!

I watched Michael Moore’s latest film last week and while I did not cheer like some in the audience I did find myself shaking my head in agreement about the utter subterfuge used by banks, Fannie Mae and other institutions to screw the country and eventually the economy.

Huge bonuses were paid on profits which proved to be losses. Rewarding work and effort are honorable. Using complex financial instruments to end run the system is deceitful.

Mr. Moore was an equal opportunity SOB as he hammered Reagan, Bush and Republicans but took equally hard punches at Geithner, Frank, Bob Rubin and the other co conspirators of the recent tragedy.

Capitalism is not dead but it has been damaged by the antics of Wall Street and the abrogation of responsibility of Washington DC.

  2. Hooray! I can’t tell you how pissed it makes me to hear about these guys getting these million dollar bonuses after getting bailed out by the taxpayers.

Just remember — a government that can limit how much these guys are allowed to make can also limit how much YOU are allowed to make.

Sad but the mess started years ago and do a web search of Brooksley Born who was CFTC director during the Clinton years and despite a great effort to limit OTC derivatives she was ignored.

Yes, there is ample blame for the Bush years but the turmoil started with Geithner, Summers and Rubin with Clinton’s consent stopping the warning shots by Ms. Born.

The government is not limiting what these people can make, not at all. The government is indeed calling BS on the bonuses and pay based on pumped up profits which were really losses.
