I’ll Believe It’s Not About Race When Pat Buchanan Does

In his latest column Pat Buchanan explains why the white working class is so upset.
America was once their country. They sense they are losing it. And they are right.
I’m really tired of all the good old days pining, because those days weren’t good for everybody. Note: Ozzie and Harriet and Leave It To Beaver were fictional TV shows.
And it’s funny how a guy like Buchanan cries constantly over people playing the race card when it seems to be the only card in his deck. BTW, America is our country.

I think we already know that the Pat Buchanans of the world only love the America that they define, which doesn’t include a lot of actual Americans.

Remember the black family that lived next to the Cleavers?
Me neither.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again — How the hell does Pat Buchanan still have a job on tv, and MSNBC no less? I can’t bring myself to click on the link, but it looks like this column is at World News Daily? At least that’s an appropriate venue for bigoted, crazy hate speech. The one positive thing I can say about him is that he doesn’t try to hide what he believes. He’ll straight out say, “White people built this country and brown people are destroying it.” At least you don’t have to worry about a hidden agenda with Ole Pat. He’s an ultra-religious white supremecist. You know, “God loves all his children — He just loves the regular white ones more.”

I guess Buchanan’s America doesn’t include me, either since Jews were not considered “white” and gays were perverts.

Thank the Christian God of Retribution that you understand that MJ.

Um, no, MJ. If I were you, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that Christmas card from Uncle Pat. Unless….Do they make “Ho, Ho, Ho. Change your heathen, evil ways, and have a blessed Christmas” cards?

Actually, my family always celebrated Christmas. Every Christmas morning, my father would get us all in the car, and we’d drive down to the store. We’d go in, he’d open the cash register, and we’d all start singing “What a friend we have in Jesus.”

Then, of course, out to the Chinese place for dinner, right?

Scott – of course! Those were the only restaurants open.
